Happy New year fellow cruisers!!
I have been so busy over the Christmas season I have neglected this thread but I am going to go through and update everything!!!
The next few months will go by so quickly!! Happy planning everyone!

I suspect this thread will get a little busier now that the holidays are behind us.

We are more than likely going to try to Vero Beach before the cruise, but should be available for any post-cruise get togethers.

Update: Looks like we are going to shift gears to meet up with another family before the cruise so our new plans is to stay at AKL or VWL for three days prior. Maybe Vero Beach after....

I just joined this group. We are sailing on Aug 25 and have one daughter who will be 10 years old for the cruise. I would love to find some other girls around her age. This will be our 5th Disney cruise!!

We'll be there with our 10 year old daughter Eliana. It will be her 2nd Disney Cruise (our 3rd, I was pregnant with her on the first one)- she loved the kids club last time (2 yrs ago) We're trying to keep the cruise a surprise this time though.

Happy New Year from Walt Disney World where the temperature is a balmy 49 degrees. Thinking about how much warmer we will be on our cruise in August.

Happy New Year everyone! Now you all can Say August of THIS year!! My family however has now another bigger event happening in August, and for that reason, we are moving our cruise to a later date. My daughter is expecting twins sometime in May and now we have her wedding to plan for in August Very exciting. By moving the cruise, we won't feel so rushed in August and have it fly by too fast, AND I think we can then give them a belated Honeymoon too, to cruise with us in January 2013. Sad to leave, but happy for the reason for it. You all HAVE a Blast on this cruise, and I can't wait to hear the stories when you are all back

Suzannecat...we are also from NY, Long Island to be more specific. Obviously if you're keeping it a secret, good luck with that, maybe they can meet when we have the DisBoards meet.

Getting real excited, we leave in 5 days to WDW and then get on board the Dream next Sunday. It's almost here.

Oh btw...the Fantasy is doing a sail out this morning for some trails. The rest of the construction will be completed outside.

Me too!! Check out what they are doing at the Animator's Palette. They bring placemat drawing to life. Saw it on You Tube. This is not getting to be more and more of a reality!

I also have a son, turning 6, but he is leaps and bounds more outgoing than his sister.

I'd also love to get our kids together. Mine is not all that shy, but as an only child she sometimes has trouble making friends on the cruises. I thought I'd try something different this year and not leave it to fate! My email is krisgils33 at yahoo dot com.
