How many of you are decorating your stateroom doors? Since I found out that people decorate their doors, my husband and I have been researching ideas. One idea I liked was a picture of Donald Duck saying I don't want to come home. Does anyone have that graphic? Thank you in advance.

Just remember, no tape or adhesives on the doors. You can get magnet inkjet paper at Staples

Look for a thread about cruise magnets or door magnets - you might find it. Thanks for the reminder - I need to go looking for the link for the Mickey Statue of Liberty Ears.

If you find something - get it laminated and just add some strips of magnetic tape.

11- days out and the cat is REALLY, REALLY sick
We took him to the vet last night and he was convinced it was due to a slight change in his diet - he gave he something to stimulate his appetite, but then he threw it up a few hours later.
Prayers, good vibes and pixie dust are needed - Bob won't go if the cat's not 100%

bmarin, I did my cruise magnets via Microsoft Publisher. It was fairly easy if you have that.

I actually started packing. I would have to say that I'm about 90% done. This morning, I set aside all the clothes I'll take and ironed them. They are hanging in my closet, ready to be packed at the last minute to save on wrinkling. I'm sure I have to widdle it down so I don't bring so much.

Packing for cruises is hard because you have to pack for the gamut... work out clothes, swim stuff, day stuff, night stuff. Plus we are going to Canada right after, so i think I'm packing for rain and cooler weather as well. I know I am probably taking too much as it is.

Its ok to be lazy! This is my husband and I first Disney Cruise so we are just having fun making up things to put up. As long as you enjoy your trip, that is all that matters.

We're going to be all over the atlantic during those days
PLUS: The extended forecast for the tropics is ALWAYS rain everyday - because there are tropical rain showers (practically) every afternoon during the dog days of summer.
It's not something i'd be concerned about.
A) The ship's captain does an amazing job of sailing "around" the weather
B) It's really too far out to be concerned (Look how much local forecasts can change within hours)
C) UNLESS there is a tropical surge being tracked from W.Africa, i wouldn't worry.
D) Last year on the Dream, we were hours ahead of Irene throughout the cruise and had nothing but sunny blue skies, except for a few passing sun-shower bands on our Castaway Cay day. We were the ship that evacuated Castaway Cay as the storm was expected within hours after we departed.

I agree about the weather. Even last weekend the day before they got it wrong. It was supposed to be nice Friday morn and rain later in the day. Rained all morn and cleared for the evening. Worked out well for me because I had a barbeque that night

I too check the weather all the time but I wouldn't worry about it just yet. The weather forecasters are always wrong even one day out. You will have a great time even if it rains.

and they are calling for mostly sunny and 91 degrees for our Disney World day!!!
