Lisa. Im not packed either. Dont know why it takes more than a few hours??? I know in my head what I want to bring. Just need to put it in suitcase. Have done the laundry and picked up all the last minute stuff. Also wine is packed.

The packing does take just a few hours. It's the laundry, the last minute stuff (not to mention the school supplies), the trip to the library to return books, etc., that I include as getting ready for the trip. I'm exhausted just looking at my list!

My intent is to get everything done today so tomorrow afternoon we can relax at the pool (which closes for the season right after labor day).

Oh, and the wine has been packed since last week .

There is plenty to do on the ship! You can tell him not to worry.

We plan on just doing Epcot on our WDW day. No reservations, we will eat counter for lunch and probably eat dinner on the ship.

Looks remarkedly like our plans. I tried to change our 7:15 to EPCOT to the 7:15 to DHS so we could try out the new star tours before heading to EPCOT, but it's full. I'm hoping we can change on the ship, otherwise we'll probably end the day @ DHS

Hope you can make it to DHS - Star Tours in 3D is so much fun We plan on Toy Story Mania, Rock n Roller Coaster and Star Tours before we head over to EPCOT for lunch.

As far as packing - guess how I'll be spending tomorrow afternoon

I've brought the suitcases down from the attic. All the clothes to pack are laid out on the spare bed or in the dryer. Shoes are all over the floor..
I'm working tonight, so when I get home in the morning I'll pack everything into my ebags, place in the suitcases. Wake up DD do her hair, go to the library, the PO, walk the dogs, water the plants, water change the aquariums, go get a pedicure and manicure, cook?? since DH doesn't eat takeout food, watch a couple hours of stuff on the DVR to make room to record while we're away. Then try to get to bed before 1am.

As for WDW- 6.30am bus to Magic Kingdom in time for the early magic hour at 8am. Out of the park by 11am to head over to Tusker house in Animal Kingdom for our lunch reservation, then for our Afrika trek tour. If we still have energy back to Magic kingdom for the maybe a ride on DD favorite Big Thunder Mountain, sit down shows, parades and fireworks.
Then second to last bus back to the ship.
Maybe a light buffet if we get there before 1am, otherwise a BLT room service sandwiche- Kevin says they're awesome and comes without the crust, just how DD loves them.

I am hoping that Tropical Storm Isaac does not effect us, but as everyone said, we should be fine.....For WDW day, my DH and I are going to Epcot. We have reservations at the Mexico restaurant. I can't think the name of the restaurant. Later, we are going to a dessert party while watching Illuminations. It should be a nice day with weather permitting!

Your day today looks eerily similar to my day yesterday, even down to the clearing stuff off the DVR (DD and I had a Project Runway marathon last night, still one episode behind). But, your DH doesn't eat takeout . If not for takeout, at least once per week we would be eating pb & j for dinner.

We seem to be squeezing our cruise route in between two tropical storms.

Hi guys!!!

Sorry to barge in the very last minute..( i didn't think to come here and check this out until this morning!! Sorry!!) but i am wondering if you having a social meet? My sister will be cruising for the VERY FIRST TIME on Disney cruise along with her DS (7) and DD (3). (and no she not finish packing either!! )

I am a Disney cruise vet (7 times) but have not been on cruise for 5 years but i have used the DIS meet and got friendly with many Diser's. I wish i was going on the Magic tomorrow too!!

But anyhow, I was wondering if any of you "experts" will be able to help my sister around the ship. Her husband will not be going so she being the single mom for the next 9 days. I have helped her plan out her days on the ship. I also made stateroom door decor as well. I am much more of a organizer and planner than she is!! so i hope she and my neice and nephew will be able to utilized as much as she can do on the ship!! She also loves to sleep late in mornings but i told her that a NO NO on the Disney cruise!!!

Just wondering of your plans of any meet?? Thanks!!
