Is anyone canceling that has a good deal on a room that fits 4 people? Perhaps we can discuss a transfer of the ressie to me ? Here's our dilemma - booked a great deal on a Cat 11a. Booked 3 people ( me & 2 kids) and now my mother wants to join. Can't add a 4th to our current room and I refuse to pay $3500 for a 3 nt cruise. So, anyone canceling who wants to transfer? Alternately, anyone traveling alone willing to add my mother to your ressie and off-set your full price? Will pay and of course, she will never use your room- she' ll stay with us. Desperate for suggestions!

I posted a while back that they were laying off people where I work and we have been told we won't know who is going until mid June so we have unfortunately had to cancel our cruise just in case. Don't feel too sorry for us as we are still coming to WDW regardless but are just erring on the side of caution slightly. Hopefully we will get our cruise in one day!

I'm sorry you wont be joining us....... we wont have the chance to meet..... But definitely enjoy your trip to see the Mouse and tell him for me that we said hello!!!!!!!

I am sorry to report we will be cancelling. We had bad news today about my sons health and he wont be fit to travel in August :( So we are all feeling a bit sad tonight.

Does anyone know what the situation is regarding a refund of the deposit? I am hoping we will get a full refund this far out which will mean one less thing to argue with the travel insurance company over!

I am so sorry to hear about your son ........... we will add him to our prayers and will think good thoughts to send to him and you!!!!!!!!

I am so excited about the cruise, that I've spent the afternoon making myself a Fish Extender.

it needs decorating, but I've got pockets :)

I really hope your son's health improves real fast and that your refund issues can be solved easily!

I hope your problems will find a solution soon! Guess I am not a huge help at the moment, but keep checking their website often, sometimes there ARE cabins available - I check out of curiosity every now and then!
I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

Our problem was resolved. By some miracle, we moved up to a Cat 4B from an 11B while adding my mother, all for only $700 more!

I'd like to do the fish extender again this year- it was so fun last year!

We are 2 adults me, Connie and my mother Evelyn. With my niece Arayla aged 4 and my nephew Joaquin aged 12.

So sorry to hear your son isn't well, SaraCat. I hope you get some better news about his health soon.

Glad to hear you got your cabin sorted, conandrob240! Great news!

Hope everyone had a lovely Easter! I have been busy making our FE - it's a slow process because I don't know how to work a sewing machine and I wasn't convinced of the strength of gluing it so am had-sewing it. I'm really pleased with it, though - in fact, it seems a shame to only use it once so will probably find somewhere to hang it in the house so we can leave messages for each other! Will post a picture when I've finished.

Just been looking at the FE list - so nice to see there seem to be several children of similar ages. I was a bit concerned that our 'only' might feel a bit out of it but hopefully he will get to know lots of people!

How are everybody eles's preparations going? Anyone got any advice about Castaway Cay? What about hiring floats etc?

Hi, our family of 3 (including our 23-month old daughter) will be on board!
Splurging on a verandah.

Staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge for 5 days prior.

I've been reading the forums and just registered.

Any suggestions on things to do with young ones greatly appreciated.

We certainly are "going with the flow" and will build nap times in.

Looking forward to a nice getaway.

Take care and thanks for all of the great tips on the boards,

I gladly added you to the cruise list and FE list! We sailed on the same cruise last year too, and we both did FE then too! :lmao: Glad to have you back! :thumbsup2

:woohoo: you are way ahead of me! I have not even thought about a FE design yet. Thank god my last one took only an hour and a half to make, so I guess I will be able to do it until we sail! ;) :lmao:
I know it can be daunting in the beginning but I am certain we will all be blown away when you finally post your pics.:goodvibes

As for CC - I guess I won't be much help, as we head out to Serenity Bay first thing in the morning and come back as late as possible. We are lazybones out there, no floats, no sports, no nothing! :rotfl2:

Hi! Our family (me, DW, DS(16), DS(13) and DD(10)) will be joining you on this cruise as part 2 of our B2B on the Dream.:cool1:. (I noticed that there are some other people on this meet who are going to be doing the same thing.) We are definitely in for the FE.:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

You are going to LOVE your veranda room! They are just wonderful!
Unfortunately I am no help when it comes to cruising with younger kids - we don't have any. But I am sure some more knowledgeable people will chime in soon!

We have been busy getting our FE gifts ready! Can't wait to deliver them to you all in 3 months!

We are working on our FE gifts as well, but with three cruises in a row and about 50 cabins so far (on all three of them combined) it starts to become a bit overwhelming! :rotfl2:

Can't even imagine!!! I already think we are going to have to ship them down so that I don't need to take a separate bag on the plane! :rotfl:

I wish I were able to send something to the US by mail. They still only allow packages of up to one lb! :sad2:

We made a list of our FE cabins today - 41!!!! :scared1: Guess we will have to rethink our gifts :lmao:
But so far we have one round of deliveries done - now let's start the next one! :thumbsup2

I can't believe ...... that so many people are doing back 2 backs!!!!!

I look forward to meeting you all during the wait from one cruise to the
other.....
