We had a beautiful day yesterday. Today the marathon is on and the whole city is in lockdown mode. And guess what, it is very overcast and looks a lot like it is going to rain soon.

Makes me long for the hot sun, white sands and blue water.

The weather here was crazy all weekend but today is picture perfect. We are way blow average and tonight will get down right cool( for florida standards).I am loving this weather before we know it it will be summer here 95 every day with 100% humidity!!!

We are having a cold spell at the moment! I had to pull out my pullovers again - so NO fun. But it is supposed to warm up considerably by tomorrow or Thursday. Just in time for our trip to DLRP! Only 4 more sleeps until we will be there.

Downright cold in NYC today.

Of course I'm completely unprepared. Came in with a golf cover up today... not to mention that I waited for the bus today for about 15 minutes. I drive down to a stop that is right on the harbor, so... it's REALLY cold.

Today is another beautiful day here. Last night I worked at the WOD and I think 90% of the people came in to buy sweat jackets!! People always think Florida will be so hot.

Enjoy the beautiful weather for ALL of us! Brrrrrr, it is cold here again! I WANT spring to start ........ SOON! So ready for the warmer weather.

Yes, we have been to DLRP lots of times. It is "easy" to get to - just 2 one hour flights (no nonstop flights out of here) and we are there. We have had APs for several years now!

I am right there with you! I work about 35 km out of the city and today it started to snow while I was at work.

I live fairly near the water... if you look for "Great Kills Harbor" on Google Maps... I live right up the street more or less.

We get some pretty wicked wind gusts... which adds to the chill. Sadly, in the summertime, the winds die down... and we're left with Heat and Humidity.

The weather's been so wacky over the past couple years... there's no real equation anymore to say "It will be warm by .... " or "It will be cold by...."

I was out in the yard this past weekend and it was nice and warm... next thing you know... it's in the 40's.

I don't get it.

My family lives on Long Island and say this has been the windiest year they can remember!!Early snow fall in Oct, mild winter, then cold for spring CRAZY!!

Hello all, I seldom get to check in. We are in NY too, and the weather really has been nuts!! LOL We are still 41 people at the moment, and I am getting after my stragglers who have not booked airfare yet. We are staying 2 nights pre-cruise at the Polynesian. My TA had offered me hotel at WDW for half price, he gets 2 rooms at half and he is coming with us on the cruise. Said because of all the business I send him and not much he can do to thank me for it, he was offering me the second room instead of his sister. (oops!!!) I have always wanted to stay at the Poly but never wanted to spend the $$ so that is what we picked. I was happy enough with that, but I just found out that he upgraded us to Concierge Rooms!! He was going to surprise us when we got there but could not help himself, he had to tell me! Just had to share my good news!!!

I frankly don't know how many people are coming... within my "core" group... we've got about 25+ people.... but then there's other people coming too that booked with us ... like cousins... friend's cousins... etc.

First time I had no interest in booking a group... it turns into a group.

Last count... I think someone told me that we had 14 cabins. Now... who's in those cabins... I've no clue.

It's funny how a group can grow without even tring!! Our last cruise we were a small group of 11 , which was a perfect size. We were supose to cruise last Aug and it was a group of over 80 But we could not get a HA room so I booked this one, which at the time was the first avail. that I could get a HA room for 5.

It is a small world!! I LOVE Clermont . When we would go to Disney from NY we kept asking cast members where they lived and Clermont came up so many times. We live in the "country" part. When people come from NY they always think it reminds them of upstate NY!! Lots of cows and horses around us!!
