August 24, 2014 4 Night Dream

Just decided to book the 4 night Dream leaving on August 24, 2014. It will be me, my wife, son 13yo, and daughter 16yo. Anyone else joining us? It will be our second Disney cruise.

FYI- Disney Cruise Line has informed us that clients booked on the August 24, 2014 sailing we should let them know that this particular sail date is no longer available as a group has chartered the ship. If you were cruising on this date your Dreams travel agent will be in touch to discuss your options.

Just wanted to let you guys know in case you hadn't been notified yet.

You're welcome. The same thing happened to me in 2011. DCL didn't have my updated phone number (even though I had given it to them and even cruised since the number had changed), so they never notified me. I read it on the DIS, and almost missed the cutoff date to switch cruises before they just cancelled our reservation!

Sorry you have to deal with this. It's no fun.

Honestly, I think it would be better to make a new thread for the Member Cruise and have the one from the cancelled cruise removed from the 'Find your 2014 Dream Cruise Meet' list.

Looks like for 2013 a new thread was created and just added to the list (the old one remained on there) with a "member cruise" note added.

Someone posted on IrishCowboy's thread last night - looking to see a new thread started soon!!
