August 23-30, 2003 "Welcome Home Fellow Cruisers--Trip Report Completed"

Hurricane Lili gave us a "Mystery Cruise" last September - it was wonderful!!! And the weather and the seas were perfect! So even if they don't go Eastern - I know that Disney will give them a wonderful cruise regardless!!

Verandah Man got the car dropped off, I drove him back to the hotel, and they got on the 1st hotel shuttle to Port. Finally found TriciaT's husband, and got him dropped off at port. Actually, I wanted to park me car and find a way to smuggle on board. So as I was leaving Port Canaveral, I made I extra stop back to exit A, and took a few pictures, waived goodbye, and the Diser's should be on board by now getting ready to leave. It's going to be a quiet Week here on the Dis without Andy, and BD won't be back for a few days.

Everytime I look at the clock, I say...."Well, they are probably doing..."such and such"....about now." SHEESH!

Well, it's 3:30PM and they are probably thinking that they have their "safety drill at 4PM".........would love to see Hazel with that lovely orange vest on!!!! Makes all of us women look so very attractive!

When we got back to our Cabin in March after the drill, I had my friend take my picture in my lovely orange vest just to add to the scrapbook.

My gosh we were all forced to pose in those orange vests several times for scrapbookser. Just so long as they NEVER get to the office I'm fine with it.

This is Andy reporting live from the Magic, someone forgot to log out again, so I am posting from their user name.

Just went through Immigrations at St. Thomas, we had an excursion planned for the St. Thomas Beach Day, but the 5 women in my group, all went back to the cabins and are going back to sleep, I have been out voted 5 to 1, about doing the excursion, the heat from yesterday, knocked them all for a loop.

Having a MAGICal time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have met some really GREAT DIS'ers during this cruise, and keep running into quite a few of them. It's nice to say hello to someone you know aboard the ship.

Weather has been very nice, for the most part we have had calm seas, just extremely HOT and very HUMID.

P. S. BTW, Rae, Tanya checked me in at the DCL Terminal, what a sweet lady!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I also got to meet the DCL Terminal General Manager, and Captain Verandah and Family was given early entrance on the ship, more details to follow after we return home.

That's it, these teaser's are killing me. I will be meeting Captain Verandah Man and family at Dixie Crossroads on Saturday. I can't wait for the the trip report, and I know they will be there. Sounds like the family is having a wonderful time. He can eat my shrimp too!!!!!

I managed to get DW, Dsis, and Dniece to join me after all for the Sapphire Beach Day on St. Thomas. Several other DIS'ers were their with their families (Pickles61-Mindy, aa4mom-AnnMarie, and allshookup-Diane).

DW and DD are now headed to the Buena Vista Theatre to see "Holes" I will be joining them at 5:30 to see "Pirates of the Caribbean."

We have had a beautiful day here in St. Thomas, tomorrow we have 15 DIS'ers meeting for brunch at 10:30 at Palo.

If someone. could copy and paster this message onto some on the other threads, that would be GREATLY appreciated. I have 5 free minutes of internet time this afternoon, but that time goes quickly, especially as slow as I type

"Welcome Home Fellow Cruisers"

As we start to drift back to reality, slowly but surely, I just wanted to take this opportunity to welcome you and your families back home. It was GREAT finally being able to put faces and names together. I really enjoyed cruising with you, and even with my buddy Travis (mostyn17) although he stayed hidden for the entire week. Travis, where were you buddy, a lot of our other DIS'ers were asking about you all week.

Some of our 8-23-03 cruisers also became DVC Members during the cruise!!!!! Way to go guys!!!!!

For those of you who know about what happened to me Friday on CC, about losing my glasses, well, Saturday at the airport, while Hazel went to the McDonalds' to get a soda and some fries for our DD, I thought I would take a stroll, now remember, I can't see more than 3 feet in front of me. Well, it turns out as I was headed for the men's bathroom, I made one fatal mistake, I walked into the women's bathroom. I was thinking to myself, this is odd, there aren't any urinals in this bathroom, just then my DD comes running into the bathroom screaming, "Dad, you're in the Ladies bathroom." As I walked out and headed to the door next door, I could barely see the rest of my family nearly on the floor in a fit of laughter. Needless to say, I felt like staying in the men's room until our flight was called. I got quite a few stares from people, as I rejoined my family, a few minutes later.

I think I had better carry an extra pair of glasses with me from now on!!!

So when did you book your next cruise for?? We are doing the Eastern again but the San Juan one instead of St. Maarten! UGH!!! What an awful place!!!!! However we did enjoy the French Riveria excursion. JUST BEAUTIFUL! Just not the nude people!! hahahahahahaha

Man I wish you would have said hello, I had a feeling I saw you a few times as well, but wasn't 100% sure that was you. In fact, my DW went up to who I thought was you during the Tropical Night on deck party, was that you??? I was trying to be sneaky, that's why I sent my wife up to you. If that was you, I got some good photos of you. I kind of had the feeling you were probably on the shy side, but man, I was looking forward to meeting you!!!

We booked for next 8-21-04 going to San Juan, when did you book for???

Nope, that was not me.....as least I dont think so. haha I didn't stay long at that tropical party. If you were looking at the stage where the singers where..........i was to the right of that. To crowded on the goofy pool........That is the first party I was at that it was so crowded!!

I had a feeling I saw you one time while waiting to go to dinner at parrot cay....I think i saw you around the internet area.
