I don't know where I have been but I only just realized that this is your first cruise. That explains a lot of the excitement. You are going to have soooo much fun. I can't wait to hear all about it when you return. I will enjoy your anticipation so much more these last few weeks too.

Our Docs arrived at 2:05pm, we are doing the (DDD) Disney Docs Dance!!!

We were just checking over our docs, and we were upgraded to Deck 7 cabin 7116, Verandah Man, has a "VERANDAH," I'm tearing up, and my hands are shaking so much, I'm having trouble typing this message!!!

I'm glad they finally came for you! Now your UPS man will finally be able to safely drive the streets, not constantly fearing hijacking by his friendly neighborhood meter reader!

My mom, sister, and niece were upgraded as well to cabin 7118, what a day!!!

I picked up my DD and twirled her around several times, I'm crying, DD is crying, DW is shouting and hugging everyone!!!

Congrats, now you truly are the VERANDAH MAN!!!! We don't cruise until May 2004 but I have had so much fun reading this thread. Your excitement is contagious!! Have fun Andy and all the others on this cruise.

Just curious - since you said were upgraded - what were your original reservations for nad who did you book through. I hoping maybe that means I will be upgraded in Sept too !!

Got my DOCS!!
It took my forever to open it.
We are in room 6116-unfortunately no upgrade, but I got my docs and it is real . I am really going!~!!!!
There was/is a small part of me that thinks I am going to wake up and find it was all a dream

That is correct. The Bahama immigration form is for Castaway Cay.

TO ALL YOU AUGUST 23RD'ers who are receiving your doc's, I have been wondering what that thunder was this afternoon, I now realize it's the Happy Doc Dance. When you all hit single digits, it's going to get real crazy down here in Florida. LOL.

We had that cabin in March - great location - right off the elevators. Our room host was Sean from Jamacia - quiet but very nice and very efficient.

Thanks again everyone, I'm still floating!!! I finally crashed into bed about 9 o'clock last night. I woke up at 2:45 this morning feeling quite well rested and wide awake. Since the house is nice and quiet, maybe I will have a chance to look over the docs more closely. My mom, sis, and niece are coming over Friday evening, so we can fill out all of our docs together. The three of them were also quite shocked, surprised, and happy about being upgraded.

Can't wait to meet everybody, see you all soon!!!

We went and got our birth certificates out of the safety deposit box this afternoon, we put them with our docs. I like saying that word, "docs."

I also jumped the gun a bit, I couldn't stand it anymore, so I changed our living room calendar to August. O.K. O.K., I know it's a day early, but I just couldn't help myself, he said, LOL!!!

Ups finally delivered to us today, no upgrade for us but we have a verandah anyway so everybody's happy

Congratulations on the upgrade Andy, you are just the other side of the elevators to us (room 7624), so no doubt we will share the occasional elevator ride.

Quite a few of us seem to be in the same area of the ship so it could be a fairly lively elevator
