My DW spent 22+ years as a bill collector, she has spent many an hour on the phone over those 22+years. I knew sooner or later, she would find out some useful info!!! LOL!!!

Since I work for the township, I get all the old cop cars to drive around in. My work car still has the spot light on it. You would be surprised how many people put on their seat belts when I pull up behind them. It's great having such power. I've had people pull over to let me pass and everything!!!

I bet they curse themselves when I pass and they read "meter reader" on the side of the car, LOL!!!

Ok, I have to get in on Not getting Doc’s. I haven’t received mine yet either. I started to think it was a NJ thing. I called DCL (I used the # from Andy’s post). Guess what, my travel agent has had them since 7/16. Here I was being patient and it’s been in NJ this whole time. I called the travel agent and I’m waiting for them to call back.

I just spoke to the travel agent and my Doc’s are ready. Now I just have to go and pick them up. I guess it will have to wait till Sat since I can’t get to the travel agent during the week. Andy, you might get yours before I get mine

Hi everyone!!
I haven't posted in quite awhile, but I have been enjoying the other posts. I also received our doc's, although I was a bit disappointed with our cabin, which is on Deck 1 (cat 9). I guess that is a chance you take when booking a CAT9 GTY. I was really sad, but a couple minutes later BD had one of his wonderful sarcastic posts, and I laughed until I had tears in my eyes. Thanks BD...you made my day!!

Anyway, we don't plan to be in the cabin much, and plan to have a GREAT time.

Andy...we are definitely set for 2nd seating...decided not to stay waitlisted for early.

We hope to see all of you at Topsiders!

We were on Deck 2 on my March cruise with Cat 13. It really is not that bad down low. And the good thing is, when you get to port, you leave from Deck 1 so you are there. Have a great time.

Oops, I must be thinking of my Carnival cruise in February. Yep it was cat 12, but I would not book a cat 12 again, because you can get deals on an 11 and its the same size room. I did like being near the bottom of the boat. As my cruise buddy said, we might as well cruise with the rats. (our only mention of titanic.) LOL.

My docs are here! We are still waiting for my mom and nephew's but the four in my cabin arrived today. I was getting so emotional reading through the material, that I had to put them away. I will try to take them out again tonight.

BTW, Andy, I meant to get back to you about the Palo ressies. Of course either dh or I would be happy to go with you to make the reservations.

Congrats on getting your docs, I just checked the UPS website and my docs are still in North Jersey, I imagine they will leave there soon and be on their way to South Jersey.

So far we have 15 people signed up for brunch, so I guess we will need 2 or 3 tables. I am going to have my mom come along with me to make the ressie for brunch, but I was thinking it might be best if we have a third person in case we need a third table.

I just received an e-mail from a fellow DVC Member that is on our cruise. She called DCL today to check on her docs, she was told that DVC never gave DCL her home mailing address, and that her docs were NOT sent out yet. Needless to say, she will be calling DVC in the morning. Two weeks ago when my DW first called DCL to check on our docs, we were told that DVC never made our final payment to DCL and that we showed a balance of nearly $3,000.00. I suggest that if you are a DVC Member, it wouldn't hurt to call DCL and check on your docs if you haven't received them yet.

Well, my prediction came true, I got very little sleep last night, I was up and down all night long checking on the UPS website. Finally at 2:44 this morning, I saw that my docs had arrived at our local UPS terminal at 2:34am. I was able to fall back to sleep until 5:30. I got back on the UPS website and saw that my docs were loaded on the truck for today's delivery at 5:20am. It's going to be a long and tiresome day at work, I can tell you that. Caffeine, I need lots and lots of caffeine!!!!!

I can't imagine, what it is going to be like that night at the Radisson, when I try to get some sleep. I'll probably be up all night, pacing the floor, waiting to head over to the terminal, LOL!!!
