August 23, 2014 FANTASY Eastern cruise meet~~New Thread

Can't wait for the Disney Fantasy! This will be my 4th Disney Cruise(all on the Dream). DH(Mike), DS(Sean 15 at time of cruise) and DD(Katie 12 at time of cruise) this will be their 2nd Disney Cruise. Oh yeah! I am Marikate and I am really excited to be a part of this!

My daughter will be 12 when we sail also & would love to connect with some of the girls her age . If Katie is interested we could exchange email addresses.

Welcome Aboard there is a great group going on this cruise! My son Bobby will also be 15, my DD Catherine will be 12, (2 weeks shy of 13) and the little DS will be 11. If you are interested in participating in the FE (fish extender) exchange, let Kritter (Kristin) know, I believe she is in charge of it. There are a bunch of girls around your daughters age (including mine!!)

My daughter will be 11 and would also love to email some girls ahead of the cruise.
Her native language is German but she learns English in school. She can communicate quite well, but on our first cruise the language barrier kept her from using the kids club frequently.
Last time she had two email friends beforehand, was totally excited to meet them in person, didn't care about making mistakes when talking and we could barely get her out of the club.
She is still in contact with the girls, it's cute. The only "drawback" was that she discovered American Girl and now we have to plan our vacation destinations according to the availability of AG stores (e.g. Chicago, NYC, Miami ).

To make a long story short: if the girls are interested, Leonie would be thrilled to write them.

This is my Family's Second Disney Cruise! We sailed the old Magic out of NY to canada. now someplace warm! My Children: boy girl twins who will be 8 by then are excited, but shy to meet new children. The FE group helped us last time to give gifts and meet kids. We would like to be a part of the group please!

On our cruise last August, the Navigators showed scheduled meet ups for the 18 - 20 year old group. Not the same as the awesome teen club, but at the least, your daughter can enjoy the adult areas, spa and fitness room.

What is a Navigator and how can we find out more about an 18-20 year old group? This'll be our first Disney Cruise and our son'll be 19. Thanks! ~Jeni

I knew your name sounded familiar. We also had to cancel out of the 7/12/2013 Mediterranean cruise. It was hard to give that up, but my wife had "work" conflicts for that time period. Instead, we are touring Europe this August.

Hi Y'All, we just moved from Haymarket (Northern Virginia) to Florida! We'll be travelling with our DS, 14, who'll be going into the 9th Grade

In my family alone is DH (34 y.o. will be celebrating birthady and turning 35) Me (33 will be celebrating birthday on board and turning 34) DS (15celebrating bday as well turning 16) and DD(13 y.o.) It's a triple bday party for us

I FINALLY BOOKED MY FIRST DISNEY CRUISE!!!!! I've never been happier!

Finally decided on Deck 7, starboard, mid-ship. Very excited. I've always wanted to see St.Maarten and St.Thomas.

It will be myself/Christine, and my DS13 Josh.

Our first Disney Cruise too!!! And our youngest DS'll be 14

Hi Y'All.. we're really excited to be joining you on the Fantasy

This will be our first Disney Cruise and the first cruise ever for my husband and sons.. the first cruise in 20+ years for my mother and I.

Sailing with you will be myself, Jeni, and my mother, Beverly, also my DH Jon, DS Stephen (19), and DS Jonathan (14).

Jumping right into the fun, we'd like to participate in the FE and are hoping to find any information as to the 18-21 year old events as well.

We will be staying on property at WDW for a week prior to the cruise, not sure where yet, and would love to be a part of a pre-cruise meetup if anyone knows of any!

We just booked our trip for this sailing and we are super excited! This will be our third Disney cruise. Our first two were on the he Magic out of Galveston. We are looking forward to checking out the Fantasy. We loved the Magic so I am sure we will be wowed by the fantasy . It will be myself, DH, DS age 7 and DD age 6. Looking forward to joining the fb group and we will definitely participate in FE!

This will be our first cruise, so we are super excited...I think my DH and I are even more excited than the kids!

It will be me (41), DH (Sean, 45), DDs (Melissa & Melanie, both 8 for those few weeks). We are going in between their three birthdays and we would LOVE to do the FE to make our first trip even more exciting and memorable.

We will be staying at AKL concierge for the week before the cruise also.

Hopefully I can find everyone on the FB page too. Can't wait!!!!

Unfortunately it looks like we aren't going to make this cruise after all. I've been waiting for the summer 2015 dates to open to move this reservation, but so far nothing. We may even end up waiting till 2016 at this point....ugh! I was looking forward to cruising with and meeting you all, but I hope you have a magical time!
