August 23, 2014 FANTASY Eastern cruise meet~~New Thread

My family will be joining all of you on the Disney Fantasy. It will be myself (Jodi), husband (Kirk), son (Kolton age 13), and son (Kody age 12). This will be our 2nd Disney cruise as a family - we were on the Disney Wonder on 2/4/12 and then I was on the Disney Fantasy before it set sail for the public on 3/26/11 on the media cruise with the travel agency I work for. I am excited to be back on this ship - it is so big compared to the Wonder. We have never cruised any other cruise line!!

Also I have never done FE but I want to this time for sure so add me to that list.

My cousin & family are also joining us, possibly my husbands Aunt & Uncle too!!

Joining in with you all! I am a displaced August 24 Disney Dream family whose cruise got cancelled. We really needed to go that particular week so we re-booked on the Fantasy. Travelling will be me, dh, and our 3 girls who will be 16, 13, and 9 at the time we sail. We are also going with my BFF and her 2 kids. This will be our first ever cruise - can't wait!

Saw the cancellation on the main page, sorry to hear that. So you decided your first cruise would be a 7 day? Excellent choice!!

Thanks. I wanted to do this on the down-low, not really sure we are going, but if we do, it will be a surprise for the girls.

We had a 2013 cruise booked, but Missy wanted to do something different this year so I had to move the reservation. I decided to park it here, but pulling off two 7 day cruises in 6 weeks will be a minor miracle so I probably won't know until next year if we are going. I thought it couldn't hurt to put us on the FE list.

In the interim, please don't let Missy know. She never visits the Disboards so she won't see what is written on this thread, but is on FB from time-to-time.

Just returned from Aulani this resort is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Glad to hear it, it looks amazing. We are going in 2015, 7 days on the NCL Pride of America to island hop and then 4 days at Aulani to relax.

We did POA in April and it was fantastic! We did a lot of planning and did everything on our own. I can hook you up with good intel.

2015 we are planning on heading back there. If you can swing it with your DVC points plan to stay longer at Aulani it is worth it so much to do there. You would love it...

We have such a large group going on this sailing. Planning many fun activities for us while onboard. I can not wait!!

The current plan for Hawaii in 2015 is a couple of days in DL, 7 on PoA (6\28 - 7\4) and then 4 in Aulani.

Yeah, my boss is going on Oasis tomorrow, wish we were sailing too, but on the Fantasy, of course. We really enjoyed our two weeks in FL this year, but I miss the ship.

Next year we are staying a week at AKL on the Club level (2 BR) before going on the 6\28 Fantasy. With any luck at all, I can pull off the 8/23 as well. <fingers crossed>
