For those of you who got their cabin assignments...Did you book at guartentee?

Yep, we booked GTY. I thought we wouldn't get a room assignment for at least another month, so I was surprised when I went to look if we got main dining, there was our room number! (No word on main dining however).

On our last cruise we were next door in 2632, there are no rooms between 2632 and 2638, and I don't know what is there, but it was pretty noisy on a couple of mornings, but luckily nothing we couldn't handle.

With some anxiety I just took a look, and I don't have a room number yet. Going from a specific room to gty, I am a bit anxious about the room. Being in cat 9+, I really don't want to end up on deck 1 with the two tiny portholes.

Waiting for this cruise I have found patience very difficult to come by!

We booked a gyt and haven't recieved our cabin assignment either. Last time, we got assigned about 35 days out.

Well, speaking of room assignments we'll pass on the news that we have the Walt Disney Suite for this cruise.

We put in a request back in 2005 in anticipation of celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary in August 2009. Thank God we budgeted this cruise back then. That's why we passed on all the special DCL cruises in order to pay for this one.

It seems to be a DIS tradition that people staying in the Roy/Walt suite host a get together on one of the sea days for their DIS group. We are open to that.

Let me know if you are interested and which of the two sea days works better. I was thinking an after lunch kind of thing. I've heard that Concierge can arrange food to be delivered.

If you'll take my schedule into consideration, I have brunch 11:30-1:30 on Monday and tea at 3 on Thursday. So if you plan on 1:00 Monday we'll show up a little late.

We have no afternoon plans for either sea day as I dropped the ball on tea reservations, and I would love to see the Walt Disney Suite, so if you are willing to host, I'd love to come by! Now, if by chance ESPN is showing the afternoon Phillies/Mets game on Monday, I doubt DH will not be joining us!

DH and I are also celebrating our 20th anniversary this year, in October. We weren't planning on celebrating on the cruise, because our celebration is a trip to Vegas (baby!) in October. I'm thinking we should renew our wedding vowels before an Elvis impersonator, but I don't think DH will go for it.

A fun tidbit for you Disney-philes:

My bridal shower was today, and my fantastic bridesmaids came up with the idea of Disney-theming the party in honor of our Disney honeymoon! They had Disney music playing all afternoon, made table centerpieces with "enchanted" red roses in small vases, and put Cinderella and Prince Charming on our cake (it read "Heather and Colin will live happily ever after....August 7, 2009"!). My mom put out photos from all our past trips to Disney with family and with my friends. (I went in 2002 with my two maids of honor...such fun to see those photos again!) Even my wishing well was Disney-fied....it had a picture of Belle on it, wondering where she might find household items now that all her plates and cookware had been transformed back into humans I kept laughing and smiling at one thoughtful touch after another. Just thought you all would appreciate their efforts! Hopefully I can deliver some photos to you soon.

Erik and I celebrated our 14th anniversary in April. (We started dating in High school. We have been together for 19 yrs.) He choose the date. April 1st. It is amazing on how many people remeber our annivsary. Everyone knew if they pulled any April Fools' trick at our wedding/reception I would kill them


We keeping checking for our room assigniment . No luck yet.... Maybe that means we will get a great upgrade. I noticed that they opened up more cabin avail. for 4 to a cabin.

Hi everyone! Sorry I have been so out of touch lately but with school coming to an end and getting dd off to camp I have been in overdrive.
Do we have any finalized plans as a group yet??? Please fill me in, I just dont have time to go thru 30 pages of posts!!!!!
I am still up for the FE although my room number has changed. We are now in #7508 which I am very happy about. We were just down the hall from there last time we cruised and we loved the location.
Congrats on your big 20 to both Sea and Wayneg!!!!! Wonderful!!

Also, I would like to start focusing on FE shopping...can anyone tell me how many families/people we have participating??
