Welcome Shelley from another NJ'er.
We gave up flying in the day of the cruise. It just makes for too long a day. Last time we did it I saw my picture posted on the DIS boards from our DIS meet onboard the first day and I looked dreadful. Never again.
We fly down the day before. I just made my reservation at the Radisson at the port. Now just have to make the flight reservations.
I, too, love the Twilight soundtrack. I listen to it all the time. But I don't understand why the Radiohead song "15 step" is not on it.
Funny story about buying the DVD for Twilight......on Saturday the kids and I were coming back from skiing and passed a
Walmart. So I stopped to go in to buy the DVD. This was around 6pm. I bought the second to last copy they had of the 2-disk version.
Unbelievable that Walmart was basically sold out in less than 24 hours.
Just finished the 4th Twilight book. It blew me away. I'm a Jacob fan so I loved how the Bella/Edward/Jacob triangle got resolved.
Not only am I a Girl Scout leader myself, but I am also service unit manager. This has been my first year. I enjoy it a lot. Its pretty time consuming, particularly dealing with the merger of all the Councils and the introduction of the Journeys. Too much change at once. But the people I deal with are terrific.
We plan on staying onboard in Key West. We're fishing in Grand Cayman. Snorkeling in Cozumel. Both kids will do the teen wild side on CC.
My DD will be 13 on the cruise. JoiseyMom has a 13 y/o as well.
Absolutely we do door signs. I've had cruises where we were the only room on our floor that had door signs.
