August 22, 2015 - Fantasy Western

We were lucky enough to be in the Walt Suite for the cruise. Had a really wonderful time. Agree about a couple of the menus and entertainment.
Looking forward to this cruise next year now.

Nothing as lavish as the WD Suite (we got invited to look around by a DIS member a few years back, amazing) but we were allocated a great oversized accessible cabin at the back of the ship, the walk in closet was as big as some cabins we have had in the past:rotfl: Plus walk in shower, larger balcony etc.

Which one? We've been in 8602 before and wanted to find out how they'd changed the room during the refit

45 weeks and then it's our turn! :thumbsup2

I was watching it too today! :)

Yeah, kind of a Saturday afternoon ritual if I am in front of a computer which being a systems administrator is more often than not. ;) I need to find a way to go on more than one cruise a year. :rotfl2:

I hear you, it does get addictive. This year we took a break, but we went on a couple of times last year after taking the 1st in 2012. Is the only vacation DH and DS want to do.

We are going for a few days to WDW during Thanksgiving week so at least we have something to look forward before this cruise.

Hello,

This is our second Disney cruise. We did the 4 day Bahamas on the Dream this past September. Couldn't wait to book another cruise.

We are traveling with no children.

We are staying in stateroom # 8646.

I know since we have no children, why want to do the fish extenders ? We love the idea of giving some Disney magic to put smiles on any ones face, no matter the age.

Thank you

Hello all!

I'm so excited, we just booked this cruise! This will be our 4th Disney Cruise!

And I'm up for the fish exchange. I did it on the our last cruise and had a blast!

Here's our info:
Me, Allison
DH, Matt
DD, 14, Claire
DS, 8, Colin

:welcome:
Great to have you join us all on this cruise. I added you to the lists in my first post and the online FE list. :goodvibes
Please let me know your stateroom number once you know it!

Hi Karin, Tom and everyone else.:goodvibes

:welcome: Wayne and family!

Just done the 14 night WBTA (then a week in Florida) while onboard we booked this cruise.

I really hope we keep this cruise but a lot could happen between now and next Summer.
Our Son is just starting his final year at University(Lancaster UK), when he finishes next July he has been offered a 1 year contract working at Lancaster University Ghana, West Africa.
If he accepts the job we will probably cancel the cruise and sail another time when he is available to go with us, if he turns down the offer and continues with a Masters degree then we will probably keep the cruise as he will get the summer off.

Completely understand that a lot can happen, but for now we are happy to have you. Great offer for your son! Congratulations!

Karin, I remember talking to you a few years ago but unfortunately don't remember the detail. Were we supposed to look out for each other at Port Canaveral(Grills Possibly?) one afternoon but missed each other?

I remember talking to you too, but can't remember details either. The only thing that came to mind is that we missed you guys at OKW by a day or two. Could that be?

I was torn about posting due to the uncertainty of us sailing but I hate joining these threads too late and playing catch up.

We are Wayne, Karen & Mathew, this will be our 8th Disney Cruise(plus 2 RCCL) We also love Florida, taking around 35 vacations there totalling almost 2 years.

I added you to the list of cruisers in my first post, keeping my fingers crossed that you keep this cruise! :thumbsup2

This will be our 16th DCL cruise and we have always travelled without kids and always done the FE. It's just so much fun. Glad you decided to join us. I put you on all the lists! :goodvibes

We stayed at OKW 4 times in 4 years and I organised 3 or 4 great DIS meets there so yes we probably just missed each other there. :goodvibes

Now that you mention DISmeet, that definitely rings a bell. I was very jealous as you organized a huge one and we would only arrive 2 days too late for it. Well, maybe we have a chance to meet up during the cruise. :thumbsup2

Love the photos!! Keep 'em coming!!!:cool1::cool1::cool1:

I wish I had some to share but it will be our first cruise, so seeing all the pics really - well I can't wait to see it in person!

Looking forward to FE! Started making some and going to mix a few things up!

Karin, your wish is my command. In the next post will be some more photos and I am SURE, you will have a lot of pics to share after your cruise. :thumbsup2

We have already started making our gifts, too. Going on three cruises (one in March) we need to try to do as much as possible as soon as possible. You will have a lot of fun.

Hello Everyone!! We are super excited for this cruise. It will be our second cruise for most of us. It will be my BFF's 1st cruise ever. There are a total of us. Me (35) Hubby (33) my son (9 at time of sailing) and my Mother in law (59). We also would like to be part of the FE. That looks like fun. I already have some ideas floating in my head. We are in rooms 7004 and 7502.

See ya'll later!!

Sam :)

Tripping down memory lane, enjoying looking back on Sarah's first 9 cruises. Watching her grow up one cruise at a time.
