I nene to get my list of FP+ ready. The one good thing about the QSDP is I don't need to work around food. I will say that last year we did all mid afternoon FP and it worked out great. I'm planning to do the same this year. Can't believe it is June already.

80 days!!!

I don't have a FP list but I know more or less what our "must-do's" are. I do have some ADRs done; we're not on a dining plan but I wanted a couple of special meals. 90% of our meals are going to be CS, though.

I love QSDP!! We have had it all 3 times we went (all free, and again this year) We book a couple sit downs but I feel it would be too much to have a meal to make it to everyday!

I think this will be our fourth year with it. We are there for 17 days and we have 4 TS meals. I try to do a couple of character meals for the girls. DH only has one request Crystal Palace. We are doing t-Rex, Tusker and via Napoli. Two days I have to buy food anyway so one is our travel day and we will do trex lunch.

QSDP just works better for us we do the WP's and no one wants to pack up to go eat dinner.

I almost found the FP process to be anti-climatic. It was kind of a let-down since I had built that day up in my mind so much. It was painless and easy and now nothing left to do until we leave....this really puts a damper on the excitement.....but we will begin packing soon and then we are on our way.....

Got my FP+ reservations done last night. I got everything I wanted in the time frame I wanted, except 7DMT which is 15 minutes after when I wanted it and caused some rewickering of plans last night. But still, I got it and that's done. Now all that's left is to spend the next 60 days wondering if I made the right choices at the right times...LOL. I'm glad I read Mesaboy2's great thread on how to make the FP+ reservations -- that information came in really handy and I was done with the entire process in about 15 minutes.

Okay, Just making sure my brain is working right here.....We check in 08/17/2015, Today MDE says 67 days, that means I can book fast passes in one week, which would be 06/18, so I can make fastpasses after midnight 06/18, So Late Wednesday night right?

BTW. Being in Nova Scotia is great on ADr day b/c online starts at 7am for me and i am up that early everyday, this not so much Midnight in FL, is 1 am here....

Fastpasses made, but I need some advice. Right now I have fastpasses for Sunday afternoon/evening because we will have been at MK until 2am EMH and will sleep in or possibly hit a water park. Our departure day, Wednesday, I am not planning to go to a park figuring we'll go to a water park or DIsneyquest before we leave for the airport...or should I switch fastpasses to Wednesday am and have all of Sunday for water park/DTD?? How much busier are waterparks on weekend vs a Wednesday? Ugh...I am overthinking my plan

My 16yr old and I stayed up last night perched on my bed so that when the clock struck midnight we were making fast passes. We have a very excited and happy little girl (youngest daughter 10) who was thrilled to hear that we were able to nab the elusive A&E FP and the SDMT to boot! Next on my list of vacation check offs is to finish getting their airport gift bags ready. I will have for them each a goodie bag with a customized and coordinating Disney family t-shirts, autograph books, water bottles, and gift cards load with souvenir money and other useful yet fun items inside.

My 60 days falls on a Friday night/Saturday morning so I'm going to let DD9 stay up and "help me" make them. DS can stay up too but he will just make sure I made one for Splash.

However, this afternoon, I booked a split stay (Pop/WL) 8/29-9/7. The money was already in there so there really wasn't anything holding us back. I haven't told my DDs and am actually debating if/when to tell them. Oldest DD drives me nuts already talking about next summer so I can't imagine how much more she'd have to say if she knew we'd be going in less than 80 days!

Yes, I believe you can book after midnight (as soon as it turns June 18th). So you will have a late Wednesday night / early Thursday morning.
I figured out mine too. We leave for airport hotel on 17th and get to BC on 18th (but RO). Our tickets don't start until 20th, when we check into POFQ. So my FP day is June 21st (right after midnight Saturday night). It is all very confusing sometimes

Yay!! Where are you staying? I'm so excited but I don't think it's settled in yet. lol

I think I may tell them when camp ends which puts us at 2 weeks out. I figure after camp is over she will need something to look forward to other than the start of the school year.

That's a good plan!

We'll be at Pop! Never stayed there before; it's an anniversary trip for DH and I, but it's just a 4 day trip and will be ALL about the parks, so Value was fine (over something more romantic like POFQ). I'm excited to try someplace new!!
