Did anyone book GF with the magical deal? If so how much was it per night?

You need to look at the nightly rate for the "5 days in the discount" - that should be the WOW! factor. It's the "3 days not in the discount" that is dragging your percentage savings down.
We booked 10 days in the discount - 5 at Poly and 5 at YC - and are saving close to 52%. That's not WOW!, it'sWOW!

I can't decide between Poly and WL for our Aug 13-20 trip. Who can chime in about what the status of construction will be at Poly at that time? I am a little concerned about noise and/or pool closure. I did read that the pool should be opened by early summer, but it makes you wonder considering the amount of construction underway. Thoughts?

Are there any Late July/Early August deals to be had if I book now? If not, can I expect some to be released anytime soon? Likelihood of a free dining offer?Hi folks! I got my "magical" quote. It is very good for 8 days at WL--but it comes to say about a 30% discount. It is good, but reading these posts, I thought it was going to be like WOW! Now, our dates include 3 days not in the discount + 5 days in the discount. Am I missing something? Is there a better deal on Poly? Is that why it looks like so many folks are booking Poly? Just can't decide if we should take the deal now, or wait until Disney releases it's discounts (which historically would be about 30% in the time we will travel in August). Thoughts?![]()
What about a split stay? 5 days with the magical deal and then book 3 days non-discounted room and hope for a discount? Also, you could book those 3 days on 3rd party website and probably stack any deals that WDW releases. This is what I am considering for 2 nights prior to our quote for the Magical deal in late August (these dates are non discounted). Have a great trip!

Can someone please tell me about the last week at WDW in August? We've gone around August 5th before, but the other trips have been in July. The crowds were a bit much. What can I expect at the end of August? I've been checking the crowd calendars, but the numbers don't mean too much to me because I'm not sure what they actually were when we were there before, if that makes sense. Any thoughts? Thanks!

We usually go in November but with our oldest in middle school now we opted for the last week of August last year so she wouldn't miss school. We LOVED it!! Yes it was HOT and very humid but the crowds were low, we could walk onto pretty much everything, we took afternoon breaks for the pool & rest but then went back around dinner time and stayed till closing. We're going again August 27-September 1 this year.
