August 2015, it's early but who's with me?!

Just booked our "magical" deal at the Beach Club for 8/16-8/23. We've always wanted to stay there. Thanks everyone for sharing this amazing deal!

Saw the RO bounceback is out for next year. We go in 20 days and thinking about booking 8/20-27 for 2015. My daughter starts middle school and don't want her to miss a week in fall when it starts (Aug is before school for us).

Does anyone know if you can add to old no expiration tickets or if you need to buy fresh? I have 2 or 3 days on an old card but will need 4 days for me.

We just got back from our YC stay and we took advantage of the RO BB for next year. We had already booked the magical deal for the Poly CL so we scaled back two days there and are now doing a split stay and filling in the first two days at the CR CL with the BB deal :).

We also booked the BB for next October as well!!

To anyone that's done the magical deal before.....do you get the vouchers from WDW for booking a package ?

I have a room and tickets. I wanted to know if I would get DQ vouchers.

We didn't get the package vouchers this past August. We had room/tickets booked on the exclusive.

The Magical deal comes with a "Fun Day" which can be used at TL, BB, DQ, or for a round of golf on one of the Disney golf courses (clubs not included - you'd need to rent or bring) The Fun day does not need to be booked in advanced, it is on your MB & you can use it at your own choice.

Yes we are going to use our fun day at BB. :)

Was still hoping for the vouchers but I can live without them. The deal is still awesome without it.

Because we got free BB admission from The Poly for the lack of a feature pool, we did DQ and enjoyed the air conditioned comfort on a sweltering August day ;)

How's this sound for a vacation? Our daughter is a HUGE Winter (the dolphin) fan. So after skipping Disney this year, we're planning to drive down to Clearwater (probably stop halfway) and visit her! Also do the photo opportunity with Winter, and spend a half day there, then drive to POP from there for a magical 12 days in Disney! The kids know we're driving to FL, but know nothing about the Winter part. It'll be a surprise announcement for Christmas :)

I am about to book our first trip back to WDW since 2007 when we celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary.

We are planning Aug. 16-21 at WL with the "magical" deal!! We would not be staying at Deluxe but it turns out to be such a great deal, it was tough to pass up.

We will not have the free dining option during that time frame, so this is the next best thing in my book.

We are going to bring about $800 in Disney gift cards to cover our meals for the 5 nights.

What do y'all think?

I am really excited.... it looks like it's going to be $2308 with park hopper and fun day at BB or TL. (probably BB for us).

It is me (will be 29), DH (31), DD (will be 6), DS (will be 3). We are are driving from Texas!! It's cheaper than flying.

I've read this thread but don't know how to get the "magical" rate. Can someone help me. We are going August 18-25 and would love a deal! Thanks!

Nevermind...I found it! Thanks!

What is the magical rate thing? Its not for the value resorts correct? And it can't get you a lower rate than a value resort?

Also do you know for a fact there will be no free dining or you are guessing?

I got invited by my friend to go with his family on a trip this upcoming August. Me, him, his girlfriend and their 2 boys (4 and 1). First time for the kids and I'm pretty sure he invited me because he knows my family is a collection of huge Disney fans. They'll be planning the trip since I'm just kind of coming along for the ride, but can someone let me know how to find this magical rate I keep reading about so I can let them know where to book the trip? Appreciate the help!

With this deal you can't get free dining or purchase the dining plan separately. It's a room only or room and tickets.

Google "Labor Day magical deal" and it'll come up.

yes I know.

My question was aimed at gabriellewatson, who from my understanding, paid more money for a "fancier" room reservation because they believed the free dining would not be an option in mid to late august.

I am planning to go around the same time and am still hopeful for the free dining plan. So I just want to confirm that they do not have any hard evidence saying there will be no free dining then.

As a side not, from my perspective the free dining plan is a much more desirable discount since an upgraded room is not that intriguing to me. I'm curious, those of you getting the magical deal, were you planning to get the upgraded rooms anyways?

This year free dining started on Labor Day or after Labor Day, I believe. I've heard reports that free dining will probably start after Labor Day for 2015 but who knows.

If the trend continues it wouldn't have mattered since we go the week before Labor Day since my kids start school the day after Labor Day.

My plan was to stay in a moderate and not get the DDP. DDP doesn't work for us. The price of the Beach Club is $202 a night. So we jumped at it. Especially with the discounted tickets the agency offers too. A moderate was around the same price before a RO discount but for us worth the extra few bucks to stay Deluxe and walking distance to Epcot.
