We just got a pin for up to 35% off that include 8/17-9/27/14. I'll be calling at the end of this week to book our stay.

How did you get your pin? Email? Letter? Postcard? Random phone call? I'd just like to know what I'm looking for. And is it a 3 digit number or a longer one?

We received the same today. 35% off various dates starting in January and including 8/16 to 9/27. It was a snail mail flyer sent today to DH. I'm the one that books the trips so that was a bit odd. And a pin has more than three numbers. A three number offer is just a standard package code offered to everyone in the world and is not a pin. A pin is 15 numbers. The same flyer we received today also offered free dining January through March 5.

Long time lurker, first time poster, and we're headed to POFQ for 7 nights, 8/5-8/12. I'll be bringing my DH, DS1, and DS2. The three of them will all be celebrating their birthdays, although DS1 will be the only one who has his actual birthday while we're on property. (DH and DS2 will have their *actual* bdays two weeks before we leave for Orlando)

Looking forward to becoming more active on the DIS, as no one in the house is even half as excited as I am!

Funny you should say this. We also got ours by regular mail, same dates, long code & it was addressed to DH. Everything Disney has sent us since our 2009 trip has been in DH's name. It actually kind of irks me since I am the one who booked & paid for our previous trip.

going the 15-29 looking for some discount really hoping for free dinning though that would save me over 2000 but either way the DDP really saves us about 450 paying for it full price. Believe me I crunched numbers for 2 weeks and came to the conclusion that the DDP was worth the price. Just wondering what is the normal % off for ASmusic? if that's what they offer? anyone know?

Going last two weeks of August and waiting for a deal. Planning on booking POR. I will be booking in January so I can make my ADR's at 180+10 come February.

I just called WDW and I have no PIN attached to my name.

Historically what deals are offered in August? Last trip we did FD but I know it wasn't offered this year. Also DDP doesn't really work for us anymore.

Triple funny. I got 2 of these pins. 1st the email one which came to my email and the email we always use for Dis. BUT, my Husband got a Pin in the mail for this as well. I do all the bookings/inquiries. It was too funny, because he was walking around like he was great saying he was going to book since he got a pin, even though I had just booked YC through the email pin. Starts on the 17th, so wanted deluxe for a few days, however, still need something for the week before since wanted to do a split stay with a mod.

I just got an email that the same agency that had the Yacht and Beach Club $180 deal on rooms last year is having a similar offer in 2014 at the Poly, YC, BC and GF for August 17 to September 2nd. Now to decide where to stay. My girls have always wanted to stay at the Poly.

Thanks for the info! I just wanted to give you the heads up that the Polynesian Resort is undergoing some major construction over the next couple years as they build a DVC portion to the hotel. There are no confirmed dates yet, but it's widely expected that the main Volcano pool will be closed for much of 2014 and the Great Ceremonial House may be worked on as well..... Guests will be allowed to use the pools at the Grand Floridian, and of course the quiet pool at the Polynesian. I just wanted you to know that, so you are armed with all the facts when you make your hotel decision. Have a great trip!
