Will the free additional driver show on the reservation? I made a reservation, but don't see that anywhere.

It doesn't show on mine but I called Hertz yesterday and the person told me with the AAA rate we do get the additional driver free of charge.

I don't believe The Costco site allows other coupons because they are actually giving you a coupon. Keep checking their site as you can cancel and rebook as many times as you would like if the price goes down.

It's automatic with the AAA CDP number. Here's a list of the AAA/Hertz benefits that you get using the AAA CDP. While this page is from mid-atlantic, you should be able to find the same benefits from your specific AAA as the partnership is national. You can print out the page and bring with you if you want to be safe, but it shouldn't be an issue.

Thanks for the Hertz tips! Booked it last night using the AAA code and PC 113761, 10 days in a compact for $250. That was the lowest I've seen since I started checking in March. Checked it again this morning and I'm down to $222. A midsize was only slightly more. Hopefully things are headed in the right direction now! I would still like to be under $200, but we'll see.

Edit: I went through the whole process and it said Ford Taurus or Chevy Impala every time the type was listed but when after I paid the confirmation says "Ford Fusion" or similar. Does anyone know what I'm likely to get from Budget in Orlando? Ford Taurus and Ford Fusion are very different size classes. Ford Fusion being describes as "Full Size" doesn't seem acceptable to me.

I saw the MUGZ025 code but it is for 10 day or more and we're only at 7.

Taurus is premium huh? I'd like to talk to whoever does their classifications. You'd think when ordering by car size that "full" would be the largest. It sounds like my joke idea for a ripoff pizza place where the smallest size was 6" and was called an extra large.

The "Full Size" listing before you pay is "full-size - Chevy Impala or similar" but after you pay changes to Ford Fusion. I'd be fine with the Impala. I just want the bigger car.

I am on the lookout for Tampa Rates too. I currently have Enterprise Premium for $324 for 10 days. I am hoping to get it alittle lower.

We want to rent at Tampa airport and then return it at Disney a couple days later and take the ME back to Orlando airport when we leave. I cant get an economy any cheaper than $119 and that is picking up Sunday morning and dropping off Tuesday afternoon

This morning, I changed a one-way rental at Alamo from Saturday to Tuesday. My one way is from PBI to Shades of Green. The price went down from $98 to $50 for a standard. This was using the Insiders discount.

You may need a Saturday night to get a better deal. Or, try adding a day. I originally had the reservation from Saturday to Monday and the price was much higher. But, when I added the day, it went down.
