SO excited!! 34 days until we check in!

I've only just discovered Disboards - so I'm a newbie here.

We're staying at Poly from August 19th-22nd (sigh, only 4 days, but that was what the budget let us do!). We're driving down from Ontario - we leave here on the 17th.

Then we're off to my Mom & Step-Dad's condo in DelRay for 5 days (yay for free vacation!) and then back up to Orlando on the 28th, to go to Universal on the 29th. We'll probably spend most of the 28th at Magic Kingdom to use up our last day of park pass.

As it stands now, our itinerary is:

8/19 - Magic Kingdom, no ADR
8/20 - Hollywood Studios, Mama Melrose @6:10
8/21 - Epcot, Polynesian Luau @5:15
8/22 - Animal Kingdom, no ADR

AK closes at 7:00 that night, so once we're done there, we'll head out for Delray Beach.

Then

8/28 - Magic Kingdom probably by noon until park close. Yay!

All I can say is OUCH!!! I have never had one but both my DH and mom has and have heard all about root canals. Hopefully yours will not be too painful, Sending pixie dust your way.

GOOD MORNING TEAM AUGUST!!!

I think Mother Nature is trying to get us used to the heat and humidity that we will be experiencing during our trip, becasue it's freaking hot out there and has been for the last week or so! I'm in MAINE people!!! It is not supposed to be consistently over 90 degrees! All I can say is thank goodness we have both a pool and airconditioning or else I'd be a big pile of melted goo on the floor!!!

In other news, my hubby and I went shopping for Disney on Saturday. He needed new shorts and got 4 pairs. And we all know (as I've kept saying) I needed new undergarments. Both missions have been accomplished. Now it's just a matter of waiting....and waiting....and waiting.... I did email my TA to see if my Mickey Mail arrived (It goes to her and then she mails it to me) but I haven't heard back from her yet. I'm at day 32 now and I see others at this point have already received theirs. Ugh! I'm so impatient!

Don't worry if your TA hasn't received your Mickey mail yet. The TA I am an assistant for is just now receiving documents for folks that travel first week of August.

I just tried it again and I got an error message. It told me to call the main number or my travel agent. I know its probably not a big deal, if we tell them at check in it should be fine. I'd love to have a first visit button though if that's what its for.

You can get your button at the desk during check in if you are staying at Disney. If not, all the buttons are also available in the parks. We lost a birthday button and went to City Hall in the MK to get a replacement. There were literally tons of different buttons in baskets for the choosing. Hope this helps and have a great time!

But our CAA rep said it is usually 3 weeks out that it comes to their office, and we're 34 days out right now. So a couple more weeks for sure!

Same here! It's more than 15 degrees hotter in Iowa than it is in Orlando right now (according to accuweather anyway).
