I don't think they're going down. They are pretty low. Where do you fly out of? We always take Continental (now United) out of Newark and it's $262/person round trip. At first, I thought that was high BUT that's the price out the door. They don't get you with those sneaky fees at the end anymore, they have to show the final price up front so it looked more than we were used to but comes out to be about the same.

I don't think they are going to go down anymore either. I am by Princeton so I can fly out of Newark or Philly. I saw flights out of Philly today for 242 with United. That is the lowest I have seen them in months. A co-worker mentioned flying out of AC through Spirit but I couldn't believe how much those flights cost!

I don't know how to quote multi threads, but someone else said SW might have a birthday sale in June.

I think I will book those flights tonight. I don't think I can get a better deal than that.

Do you guys have Southwest from your airports? They announced a summer sale yesterday and some dates were pretty good prices out of Buffalo.. so I imagine you'd see similar prices in NJ. Also, they are "rumoured" to be having a sale in June (Birthday sale) so it might be worth waiting to see how that pans out.

We booked Southwest back around February for $140!! Of course that's one way, but Jetblue was $240 on the way home. So still not bad. I love SW because of the Non Stop! Actually, Jetblue was Nonstop also. Flying out of Buffalo, because it's a relatively small airport is so easy! Well, to some places, anyway:)

Yeah, but as others said, I'd much rather be sweltering in Disney!! :cloud9:

I'm trying not to wish my summer away. We have a pool, so I intend on spending alot of time in it. It's only 4ft deep, but that's plenty to play in and lounge around. We've decided we just don't have time for camping this summer. My hubby is building an addition and doing some landscaping and we just don't see fitting camping in. Besides, I really am not that fond of it! :scared:

Yay!!! Someone else who is staying at CBR!! :cool1: Our trips overlap by 2 days so maybe we'll see you there! I always have my lime green Mickey head on something I'm carrying, so I'm easy to spot (hopefully). Please say hi if you see me!

Let's see.... our arrival day plans are usually getting to the hotel using Magical Express. We will be landing in Orlando at 3:25pm and I'm hoping to be at our resort by 4:30ish. We then will head to DTD for our ADR at Planet Hollywood for 6:15pm. Planet Hollywood is an arrival day tradition. Then it will be back to the resort for a swim and relaxation!

WE will be at CBR 8/24-9/2. So if you see a Mom and Dad with 5 boys! That will be us!!!!

I just rebooked our Southwest leg for 160 the other day and got a 120 dollar credit:cool1:
We are on jet blue on the way back. Grand total for the 5 of us with the credit is 1460 I think. I can live with that for non-stops and free bags! I was very close to booking flights with connections out of Rochester, which is 2-3 hours further to drive for us. And they were the same price as what I eventually found out of Buffalo. I really like that airport too and it's only a 40 minute drive from our door to the airport:)

We are slated to land via Southwest at 9:35am (wowser that is gonna be one long day!!!) and using the Magical Express. We hope to be at Art of Animation by 11am to check in. At that point, we will head to DTD and get some lunch at a new restaurant for us, Raglan Road. After lunch we will call my parents and let them know we are heading back to AoA for some relaxation by the pool (and checking it all out)!! We are super excited about that. Then we plan to get changed and head to our first Signature meal of the vacation (and another new restaurant for us) at Yachtsman Steakhouse. :cheer2:

Arrival day plans: We arrive on 8/22 sometime after 11 AM. We will take ME to POFQ, then head to MK. We will spend the rest of the day there. Going to try Crystal Palace for the first time.

GOOD MORNING TEAM AUGUST:cheer2: CAN I ASK THE QOTD??? WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE WDW TS RESTAURANT?

SO FAR, OUR FAMILY'S FAVE IS BOMA:love:

Hmmmm, that is a tough one because we have so many :goodvibes. But our favorite TS restaurant in all of Disney would have to be California Grill. Nothing beats the awesome food, great service, and the view on top of the 15th floor overlooking MK .

Where did you get the facts from? It is our first trip and the kids will be in this weekend, with a weather forcast of RAIN, so this sounds like a great idea and craft project to keep the boredom away
Just searched internet and some things from the few books I have. All sorts of info- Today's was which is the biggest park in WDW? AK... I have facts about Walt himself, how many theme parks in the world, how many locations, hidden mickey spots and which ride is Dads fav/moms fav...

Arrival day for us this trip will be more low key. Not rushing to a park. Flight lands at 1:30, Check in at ASmusic(only a 2 day stay there then we move.) Maybe a swim, head to DTD that evening. We have friends arriving in Orlando that week too so prob meet up with them.
Fav restaurant is San Angel. I know reviews arent great but we love it. Cant say we have eatten at enough places though to rule out a new fav. We try to get a few new places in each trip too so always subject to change.

GOOD MORNING TEAM AUGUST:cheer2: CAN I ASK THE QOTD??? WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE WDW TS RESTAURANT?

Good Morning!!
We have a few favourites. We all enjoy Ohana. Especially my husband. It's unusual for him to care about a restaurant all that much, but he requests it for every trip so I try to get it for him.
However my absolute favourite was Jiko at AKL. We had easily our best meal at Disney there last year. I might even say it was one of our best restaurant meals EVER. Which is saying a lot for us as we travel quite a bit and have been to some very nice places. Everything from the food to the atmosphere was wonderful. I had a salad with Georgia peaches that was outstanding. And really that's a pretty high compliment for a salad:rotfl:

Day of arrival??? NOTHING.. We are gonna play it by ear. Although someone mentioned the campfire sing a long.. May have to try that!

Favorite TS??? 1900 Park Fare... Love the strawberry soup!!

Tokyo Dining!! I LOVE it there. They are always so nice and polite and the sushi is amazing. They made all 4 of my kids little origami birds, parakeets, and turtles. Also it was my twin's 5th birthday and they came out with ice cream treats and candles. They sang to them and brought them out even more little origami creatures. My kids are huge fans of the monorail dishes there and the teriyaki chicken. My son, who was one of the kids turning 5, said his favorite meal the whole visit was the tempura chicken. :goodvibes We will definitely be going back there this Aug. We LOVE it.

Our kids favorite is Chef Mickey's, Dh favorite is Biergarten, and my favorite is Liberty Tree.

Our Arrival day (the 25th) is the day we get off a 5 day cruise (non Disney though) --

We will be driving up the coast from Miami on our rental convertible and then after we check in -- we will hitting the pool!

We always hit DTD on Check in day , for an awesome WGP dinner and checking out the night life entertainment -- then the next day -- it's Park time!!! wooooooooott!!!!!

Hello!

My mom and I will be going to WDW August 12-19th. We will be staying at the BC and the WL.

I can't wait! :woohoo:

We are checking in to the BC on 8/22. Our plan is to spend some time at SAB then DH & DS will head over to HS for F! while DD, DM & myself have dinner at B&C and hit the movie on the beach.

What is our favorite WDW restaurant??..Hmmmmm, of course I haven't been to a whole lot of them, but lets' see....

The one that comes to mind for the most fun in the 50's Prime Time Cafe in HS! The food is ok, but I absolutely love the whole theme and concept. Both my hubby and I got "in trouble" for various things such as not eating veggies and not setting the table. It was a riot! :lmao:

How about....What are your arrival day plans?

We are getting in at 11:30 am I believe so we are going to get to the resort, attempt to check in, explore the resort and get lunch, then head to the parks. We have an ADR at crystal palace at 7:30.
