I'm in. We are headed down August 17 for about 8 days. While my ticker stays we are staying off site at Bonnet Creek, I haven't booked yet and don't think I can pull the trigger on an off-site visit. We'll see what happens

I haven't booked anything, but I saved a couple of offers on WDW.com in hopes of triggering a pin. IT WORKED! sort of Yep, got a pin for DisneyLAND in my email the next day.

Count me in for waiting!!!! I am totally waiting on a free dining offer to come out!!! We don't have our dates set in stone yet, but I have to be back by the end of August when we go back to work. So I'm thinking somewhere right smack dab in the middle.

LOL I had to check my ressie. I booked it ages ago. I have, according to the site, 316 days. I have FD at POR-just DH and me. I'd rather have a good room code (stayed at the Poly two years ago), but, I'll be happy just to GET there again!

The only way my family and I go next year is with a good discount or free dining. We can only go in June or August.

I'm glad there is a place where I can wait with other Disney Fanatics!!

We are booked at Contemporary for 8/10/12 through 8/16/12. Also hoping for a discount like everyone else here!!

If I am already booked and a discount comes out--will they honor that or do I have to re-book all over again??!!

Editing to say that we were at WL the same dates in 2011 and the crowds were manageable. Probably a little lighter the following weeks in August though. It was hot but FABULOUS!!

I'll be there August 5-16th at the POP with 5 adults and 14 kids for a DTD performance. It's our first August trip and our first time onsite with the group. Hoping for a discount-- it makes a huge discount over 6 rooms!

disney deluxe animal kingdom and wilderness lodge 8/1/12-8/18/12

there was no hotel exclusions for value and moderate. Must book by 12/1/12.
So keep the faith, the pins are coming. I received one similiar to this last year at this time and another one the first week of January. I remember the second one offering 35% off deluxe because that is the one we used!

Add us to the August 2012 code watch. We've been lucky to go the last three years in the Fall all with pin code offers (just got back two weeks ago). Each year, we've had bounceback offers in our room for the following year but have never been able to take advantage as they were always for the month of August. This year was the first year we had no bounceback offers in our room and go figure that we actually ARE planning to go in August of next year! Here's to hoping that we get another pin code offer...

Hey, that code would work for me ... I'm leaning towards WL. LOL.

I received an email from Disney Destinations today ... I was so excited since I saved 2 trips. Unfortunately, it was just more information about one of my hotel choices. I still haven't booked anything.

Maybe I need to add a moderate or a value to my saved vacations so the pin creators can try to entice me to stay at a Deluxe (my plan ...). LOL!

Just wanted to check in to say that we got that same pin for those 8/5/12-8/31/12 travel dates too. I have already had my AAA TA apply it to our package. It was not FD or a 30% off pin but hey a bird in the hand right.
