Would love a free-dining return trip at the end of August, assuming the economy behaves and our finances remain stable. Just returned from a magical trip January 10th to the 16th at POR.....would be booking a value this time to save some money, but adding the waterparks option. Would seem like a totally different trip, being able to visit 2 waterparks and Disney Quest!!

Here's hoping for some great free-dining news or superb room discounts for all of us!

Now that the 4/3 deal has been extended, I'm thinking that we might have to wait longer to see if any deals come our way for August.

My parents are at WDW right now. They haven't visited since the 1980s, so I'm not sure if they have a good grasp of "crowded" parks or "not crowded" parks according to the way WDW usually is, but they did say that the lines are pretty short and that it doesn't seem like it's too crowded. If crowds are down and continue to stay down, perhaps that'll increase our chances of a good deal.

Our Wedding is August 31, 2009. We have the Wedding Guest discount but I'm looking to see if I can get something better. Dates are August 28-Sept 3. We are doing 2 nights at All Star Movies and then 4 nights at Poly in the Honeymoon Suite, followed by a 3 night Cruise.

Trying to save all the money I can!

Actually, I'm not too excited about this. We're staying for 10 nights (8/10 to 8/20) and have a AAA rate. I'm not sure if the 4/3 deal would extend for us. If it did extend, wouldn't I be paying rack rate for 7 nights to get the 3 for free? I might as well keep what I have--the AAA discount which isn't great but it's better than nothing.

Now I'm thinking this extended offer decreases the chances of a good room only code and/or early free dining or another deal.

My sister got this pin (email) - it starts August 16th, too late for us, but we should be good for our dates with the 4/3 deal come Monday! I'll be waiting for our TA to let us know if we're keeping Pop & saving some $$ or if we're upgrading to POR or CBR!!

Hope you fellow August 2009 guys can take advantage of one of these deals!
