August 2009 ADR Wanted/Trade/Exchange/Cancelled

I just canceled 2 lunches at Liberty Tree Tavern on 8/10 at 2:10pm and 2:20pm.

I cant believe you had two lunches booked within an hour of each other and one of them didnt get cancelled. Really makes me wonder how many people book things so close together since they dont know what they are doing and have extras. Not fair to people who cant even get one.

I don't know if I would trade the Fantasmic package since it has a credit card attached. It would take a lot of faith that the person you trade with will actually go instead of not showing up and then you get stuck with the $10 per person fee.

August 2009 ADR Wanted/Trade/Exchange/Cancelled

Everyone and anyone is welcome to post ressie they want to cancel, trade or just want from someone who may be cancelling or trading.

All that is require to do a transfer/trade is two willing parties, the phone# name and party size for the person who is wanting the ressie to be provided to the owner of the original ressie.

When posting please make a title listing Cancel or Trade, the date, and the location list all other info in the post itself that way it will be quicker for others to spot your post and respond.

FYI - I called twice today trying to modify my ADR to a poster on this thread and was told by 2 different CMs they cannot modify the name on the ADR. The only way to do that would be to cancel and rebook.

Which is why you need to give the person you are trading with or giving the ressie to the name under the ressie and the ressie confirmation number. They will give that name at the podium instead of theres in order to be seated.
This is also the reason why it is to hard to trade/transfer a ressie with a credit card guarentee attatched to it. You have to trust the swapper that they will show for the ressie or it will be your CC that is charged the no show fee.

Unfortunately if I keep this ressie that I don't need I can't make a different one with the risk of Disney cancelling them both!

We are going to try and coordinate our calls so that as soon as I cancel the other party will call and try to get it.

Not as easy as I thought it would be but I can see why they don't let you modify the names. It could easily create an ADR scalper environmnet whereby people could "sell" their ADRs. I could easily see this happening for some of the really hard to get ADRs like LC.

I know this is an extreme longshot, but....we are going to Disney the week of Aug. 16-23...yes, the free dining week. Anyway we only have one dinner that we wanted to go to and that's Ohana ANY night or time that week. The only other ressies we have are breakfast at Ohana and lunch in Germany. If anyone is giving up their Ohana reservation please contact me.

Kelly, have you found your Ohana ressie yet? I have one since we will be there the same time, that I am going to cancel. I thought if you wanted it, we could put together a time and I could cancel on-line and you could hopefully grab it. Let me know asap.

I've been checking on Le Cellier everyday and constantly since they've started online ressies. I got it today for 6:30. Can't believe that time!! I still have Chef Mickey's Tues Aug 25th at 12:55 for lunch for 8 people. First person to pm me can have it!!! btw, I love this thread!!

(Surprisingly, I was able to book a dinner for 4 on 8/23. So keep trying!)
