Our dates just changed. We're now at POR 8/14 thru 8/18. Airfare for those dates was a lot better. $103 a person roundtrip!

DH and I will be in Disney from Aug 5-17th. Staying at AKL for the 1st time (as you can see from my signature) with savannah view Im about $1100 shy from paying off AAA. $600 just came to us today from the stimulus package money and my sister is giving me another $700 to pay me back from last christmas. So that will cover AAA. Then we just have to save up for food and thats it! Im still trying to decide weither or not to add the DDP. It would save us about $200 but then again I might end up saving money not doing the DDP if we skip some lunches. Oh what to do?!!

August 26 - September 1 at POP - heeeeeere we come! (I added a day for better airfare - if you look at it sideways, I kinda saved $!

Just booked the airfare which makes the trip seem real. Up until I've paid for those non-refundable tickets, it's all still just up-in-the-air.

That's what kept DW and I from doing the DDP.

We'll be there Aug. 7-16 staying at CSR!!

I'm hoping that Free Dining will dull the crowds a little in August...one can hope anyway!

How are the crowds is the big question....

We've done it before and we're doing it again this year. Just be sure to manage your fastpasses well and follow all of the avoid the crowds tips (riding during parades/shows, going to the later Fantasmic, utlizing EMHs, etc) and it's definitely doable.

We are going to be at POP August 29, 30, and 31, for free dining! Oh, and did I mention its a surprise trip? We're picking up DS-16 and DD-13 from school Thursday afternoon and heading down. Can't wait!!

Aug. 9th- 13th @ POP, (and just changed to 13th -16th @ RPR Universal)...we were at Pop last year in July. Thouroughly enjoyed the entire trip...I was worried about the heat and crowds before we got there, but we stayed hydrated, planned and hit the pool mid-day, so it was all good. Thinking about moving to POR, but not sure yet...

Hi All! I just booked a "Mom & Daughter" trip for me and my youngest daughter. Leaving the family (DH and 2 older DD) at home! We will be at All Star Music from Aug. 5 thru 12. We haven't stayed there before, but expect nothing but the best from Disney, as usual. We've stayed at Fort Wilderness cabins in the past, and the Poly. My DD will be 13 in July and we're considering this a bday present for her!
I'm going to go back now and catch up on this thread so I can get to know everyone - and see if anyone else will be there when we are!
