Wow!! Barbara, Some pretty good savings on ticket prices!! We unfortunately don't have any credit union or work association with discounted tickets. We are AAA members and I haven't yet called to see if our Pa AAA sells DL tix. I'll give them a call on Monday and get some info and I'll share that info with everyone here.

Hello everyone! Hope everyone is having a good weekend!
I'm doing a happy dance as DH and DS have just returned from one week away at cub scout camp! Boy, are they tired and what a bunch of laundry!

Grumbo - sorry I've been offline (work interfered again)
I misread your original message. I thought you were planning
to stay at that Holiday Inn for two weeks! That got me into
a panic after my bad experience. I didn't want you to suffer
for two weeks! Hopefully you will be OK for one night. We've
stayed in many other Holiday Inns over the years and this
one just didn't measure up. No perks for priority club either.

Barbara,

Thanks for the info about the tickets. I'll have to check our two credit unions when I go to work on Monday to see if they have any special pricing. I'll post what I find out too.

Hey guys

I know this was posted a while back but it is not appropriate to post pictures of naked men with their head up their...well - high spirits or not please be mindful that this is still a family board. Have fun by all means, but remember to keep it tame, ok?

Thanks...you can now continue with your regularly scheduled cruise chatter :)

Appropriate? Probably not. But I still thought it was funny!

As for tickets I'm in the middle of compiling a bunch of infor on prices and where to get them and stuff. I hope to get it done next week. We'll see how much I can get done, and I'll post all the info I've got, hopefully it will help someone.

I think the "toe" picture upset me more than anything else! ;)

I totally agree. That was pretty gross. The other pics didn't bother me, just made me laugh.

I have to agree too! The toe picture was nasty!:p

I have to say I have dealt with a lot of people with their head UP their A _ _!!!:teeth:

Wait until the BOOZE takes affect! We are not known as the ship of fools for no reason! 2 weeks with nothin to do but eat, drink, and be merry!::yes::

The "Head Up the ***" picture made me laugh!

But that TOE Pic; :scared: :scared: :scared:

That was just plain NASTY!

Back on Topic ~ Do you think that we will have the time to view a Bull Fight? Or are they only done at certain times of the year?

Edited to reflect the Board Policy; don't want to get banned.

Sorry, had a brain fart!

I had the EXTREME misfortune to go to a bullfight in 9th grade when we went to Mexico with a group of classmates. It was by far the worst, most disgusting experience of my life. Don't go.

Scratch it is fortuitous that you mentioned bull fights.
In keeping with JGE's desire to provide "Family entertainment" plus make a few bucks... We are offering an alternative excursion for those with a blood lust.

On Deck 7 we will be having that world renowned sport of "Full contact Gerbil fighting".
Gerbils are a fearsome beast, and will fight until the first one says "Uncle". They are fed Zinfandel and Mickey bars to get them into fighting shape.
No blood, good wholesome fun and only a $10 add on to your REAS package.

Two combatants shown on the last Queen Mary 2 voyage.

Cheers,

So, it's not like they show in the movies?

Ok, I'll scratch that off my list! Don't want to have nightmares.

I'll stick with the cliff divers then!

Well, first you watch a _bunch_ of guys stab the bull with very long knives. That gets the bull mad. At this point the bull is bloody and beginning to die. Then the matador comes in. In my opinion it is really not much of a fight because the bull is injured although it has a lot of energy. I really couldn't watch very much but in the end the bloody dead bull is dragged through the stadium as the drunken Mexicans cheer. Certain body parts (ears for sure but I can't remember what else) are also paraded around. Sound like fun?

Hi All:wave: I've not had much time here, but I've been lurking. I've been busy over on the Oct 30, 2004 Halloween Cruise on the Magic. I've got the job of organizing the T-or-T for our children.

I see the points chart for this cruise is up. Only 587 points for my little family of 2 adults and 1 will be 8 at the time cruise child, that's a cat. 10.
Shucks!!!! Now I don't know what to do since we are using most of our points to pay for our 10/30. cruise. Do I cancel this years to pay in points for next year? 587 points instead of $6182.67. What's a gal to do???????

Anyone else changing their ressies to points?

I'll stick with JWE's Gerbil Fights!

Thanks for the warning.
