I can't believe it!!

The real bad flooding was in Burlington County ehich is about a 40 minute drive north of us. We got a lot of rain, about 4-5 inches, but nothing like Medford Lakes 12-13 inches. The rain was coming down so hard at times our backyard looked like a mini-lake for a short while.

Looking at the countdown clocks, looks like we are at the 400 day mark. I guess thats a milestone of sorts!!!!

Happy Birthday, Scratch!!!

Scratch42 beat me to the punch. I just contacted Dreams Unlimited and was informed that we could book the REAS package for $339. However, Disney does not have the schedule ready so you won't be able to schedule anything yet.

Sorry, Grumbo I will be giving my money to Disney! All though your spa package DID sound TEMPTING!;)

Thanks Everybody for the well wishes!

Today was a quiet dinner with my mom, DD and myself! Sunday is the big time Fun! I won Tickets to Madonna! So going out for dinner again before the show but will have a Martooni to celebrate!

No Canadian Tire Money for the REAS! I wish! But then again JGE never confirmed that they would accept it either!

Oh, I looked up what it was that I get with the package deal at DL ~ A commemorative Clock and the "Walk with Walt Tour" I know, I could probably get it all cheaper doing it on my own but......I wanted to secure something before everything gets booked!

Pixie Dust to all those in the flooded areas. It looks like there are quite a few areas here also that are suffering. It's been quite a wierd summer! I don't remember quite a cold summer as this nor quite a wet one either!

:bday:

Scratch - WTG on the Madonna Tickets!!! How did you manage to win them? The only contest I heard for them was Jay and Billie on CHFI. I never have any luck getting through there on the phone:rolleyes:

Enjoy the rest of your celebration!

Arlene

Arlene ~ I actually got thru on ChumFM and with Roger, Rick and Marilyn! I don't know if I was more excited because I got thru with them or getting the tickets!LOL

I forgot to mention that I did get around to mentioning that I needed 2.5 weeks off in August! John said what, this August? No next August! He just said, "Tell David!" That's what I'm afraid of! Hopefully John will mention to Helen and then it will come up in conversation! I was also thinking about asking Verandah Man to send a postcard to David next year requesting our presence! Can you Tell I'm a Chicken! Pac Pac Pac!

Have A Disney Day Everybody!

Scratch,

I have a question. What "package deal" did you get for DL? Was it for rooms and park tickets? Where did you get the information? I'm going crazy checking out "good neighbor hotels" in the Anaheim area and trying to figure out if they sell 1 day hopper passes or just 1 day/1 park passes. Anyone know what is available?

I have the hotel choices narrowed down to 4, but none of them are excepting reservations yet for that far out. I am worried they will book up fast with the 50th celebration and the cruise. I still need to figure out ground transfers from the airport to hotel and hotel to the port. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

I know it's a long way off, but I am loosing sleep worrying about all the arrangements I need to make!! I wish Disney would have a package deal and they could handle all of the details!!

Lynda - I'm in the same position as you. What four hotels have you narrowed your choices to?

I've been reading the recommendations here as well as reviews at "tripadvisor.com" and want to book as soon as they're available. We're probably booking three-day hopper passes, though.

Thanks for all the help!

Arlene

Hi Lynda,

DL/DCA only has 2 day or more hopper passes, the one days are for one park only. This summer, AP holders were able to take friends and family to buy 2 day hopper passes for a good deal from July thru mid-Sept. - 4 per day per AP. That would mean we could get people 16 per day with our family. If the offer returns next summer, we'll be happy to meet up at a ticket window and use this deal for you all.

We keep hoping Disney will finally offer one day hopper passes here, but it doesn't look like it's going to happen. Maybe special for the 50th? That would be great!

Hope this helps! I'll keep my eye out for deals for you guys!

Barbara (PS I sent you the HOJOs contact info. in a PM. Supposedly this is a good deal, izzinmac is going to look in to it, let us know Bob what you find!)

Actually, there is a NEW one-day park hopper. It was introduced very recently. (End of June/begining of July I think.) There is no info available at Disneyland.com, but I was just there (DL) and saw the prices for myself. I was able to find this pic online:

I don't know if this 1-day park hopper will be available next year though.

They've actually sold a 1 park hopper pretty much from the begining on and off, but it wasn't advertised, people had to ask for it and some CMs who were informed enough would sell it. They've finally decided to put the info on the signs.

Also there is a So Cal Resident price for the 1 day park hopper, If I remember correctly it's 62.something I'm too lazy to look it up at the moment, but I know I saw that they were offereing a discount on it.

However, that is not advertised that I know of. I didn't see any ending dates for it though.

Donna

As far as the 2 day hopper ticket AP holders can buy, they offered it last summer, so it may be back next year. They usually do offer something sort of incentive for APs to bring their friends during the summer. Not sure how it works with passes that have block out dates though.

Thanks jin diesel!!! That is awesome, really glad to know this!

They are selling the 2 day hoppers to AP holders this summer for family and friends - $79.00 for adults and $59.00 for children.

Missed this news, but can't tell you how happy I am to see these one day hoppers!

Barbara :)

?? Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the price seem high for the ONE-DAY Park Hopper? Actually, maybe not if you only have one day and want to see the highlights at both parks. OK - ignore me!;)

That's an awesome deal for AP holders on 2-day hoppers, though! When I had my WDW AP, we didn't have anything like that available.

Donna, you are so right, but I can't find it listed anywhere.

You SoCal residents are lucky with all the discounts you get!!! ;) :p
