Well, we put down our deposit today! It will all be "official" after we get back from our back to backs this fall to see if I can actually stand 2 whole weeks on a ship, but something tells me I won't have too much of a problem ! Give me good food and better drink, and I am sure I will be fine!

Two-foxes in for a Cat 6 (6586!) We'll hit DLR in 2006....it is too much to pack in for us this time around!

BTW, what does it take to book a private event onboard? Like a party in Studio Sea (or some other location)?

We'll have plenty of Dissers onboard this repositioning cruise to warrant a private party IMHO.

In the office I work in we have approximately 40 people. At Christmas we have a pot luck lunch and they put a spreadsheet on our public drive so everyone can add what they're going to bring.
By the time I finish with that list people are about ready to kill me
I'm remaining subdued on here

Hi,

We are officially booked and paid our deposit.
I am now trying to work out the logistics of it all!
We are planning to arrive on 17th Aug and use DVC points to stay at the Disneyland hotel in concieage(sp). We would love to stay at the Disney Californian but the points are way high! DH likes to have a car, and as gas is sooo cheap in the US compared to here in the UK he likes to have a big one! I am guessing we will fly into LAX as it seems to be the only way to get a direct flight. We would therefore like to hire a car from a company that also has a dropoff at the port, but I cant actually work out what port it is - anyone know?

I am so excited about this - we have talked about the PC for so long and never thought Disney would do it.

Direct flights Las Vegas, (Virgin)3 nights, inc grand canyon.
Fly Burbank
Hollywood 3 nights,
Booked now, Disneys Grand Californian 3 nights

DCL transfer to port

May have car hire Burbank > Disneyland?

(Dare I say on these boards in Hollywood go to UNIVERSAL)

WWW.SANPEDRO.COM is a good website with lots of links near the DCL port, it includes a lot of car hire compnaies, but few do one ways.

Happy to see you posting Rae, I know you have your big trip coming up in two weeks, this is going to be some cruise, that's for sure. Looking forward to sailing with you twice in a four month span!!!

That's great! Looking forward to trading with her, too! There are several pin traders going on this cruise..........I smell a pin meet being planned for one of the days at sea. I figured I would wait to see more of the details Disney starts to come up with, before picking a day and location to set a meet up at.

Also we will be spending 3 days prior to cruising at Disneyland!! This our first trip there, so I don't know how much trading I will get to do.
