Well I figure Jazzman is playing the guitar/lute, Grumbo's has had a bit too much ( he's the one throwing up), but I'm not sure who the others are...Mark

Ship of Fools, one of my favorite Robert Plant (pant pant drool, in his younger days) songs.

Not sure about the potty picture. Should I say that the first thing I thought of can't be printed on the dis? Best to keep that over on the Yahoo board..

Love the Smurf picture.

Theme, theme? We don't need no steeenking theme.

ETA - is that Jason with the Martini glass?

Yes, you know it Marsha!!! And it's a fabulous Very Berry Martini! Yum!

I had one of these for the first time on Martini Night on our May Cruise.

2 shots vodka, 1 shot chambord, .5 shot gomme syrup, 10 fresh raspberries mashed at the bottom, and sugar on the rim. :hyper:

Talk about a "ship of fools." Well, I guess in all reality it would be a ship of fool. :)

Great theme Bob. Since it's classical and all we can each bring an extra sheet in our luggage and a wreath of laurel in our luggage. We'll have a toga party in the Promenade Lounge!

Who's in?!?! :hyper:

We actually had a nice time in Indianapolis::yes::

Things we did

Indianapolis Zoo
Children's museum
Went downtown to the mall, city circle, and dinner
drove to Nasheville, IN for some crafty type shopping
Went to the dollar movies (a couple of times)
bowling

Seems like a nice town with the exception that most of the drivers think they would qualify for the Indy 500. Crazy drivers with lots of accidents daily! Most of the restaurants have smoking sections. Seems like a lot of smokers around!:p A lot of motorcycle riders and no helmet law:eek:

First time in Indy and we will be back for a few days at Christmas time.

Toga party before or after the Very Berry? This could get ugly, if we do it before. If we do it after it will still be ugly, but no one will care.

I like Chambord (actually lesser expensive Rasberry liquor) in mixed berry flavored soda water, with sweetener added in or the plain.

I will have no problem drinking the VB Martini.

Chambord is also yummy when mixed with the bubbly!

I'm thinking that we may be related in some way Marsha! :teeth:

Perhaps we are related. If you are eldery and rich, I am sure you could be my "uncle"!!!!

Chambord aslo makes for a great topping on vanilla ice cream. And rasberry milk shake flavoring.

HAL sets out lots of liquors for ice cream toppings at the lunch buffets. Think we can convince DCL to do the same?

actually I think the other repo cruise group picked a pirate's theme because there's a rumor going around that DCL will be doing pirate themed stuff on the two repo cruises. :)

Jason - You are Martini expert! I haven't really been introduced to the fine art of Martini drinking so I may have to hang out with you so that I can learn the finer points from a real pro!

Paul--

Travis is the real martini expert. I can only handle the "sweet" ones. Very Berry Martinis, chocolate martinis, etc. Some of the ones he makes smell like there's nothing in the glass but an olive and rubbing alcohol!

I loved the toilet! I wish I was computer literate enought to figure out how to put on pictures. Don't even try to instruct me. I am beyond help. I am lucky I can get & receive e-mail, the other Disney Dudette can't even do that!:earseek:

I try to catch up on the postings but usually only have enough time to go back two pages. You are such a chatty:chat: group!

THEME? That could be an interesting concept!

Supposed to be really hot & humid again today:sunny:. My daughter is happy to go back to California today & leave this humidity. I guess the next time I'll see her will be at her wedding:bride: :groom:next summer & then when we cruise. Hope you all have a great week. I am back to work tomorrow & Friday. Supposed to have a "dinner" date with Bobby  tonight. Toodles:wave2: :earsgirl: JEANNE

And I missed all the fun last night!

Mark, thanks!;)

Well better get to work!

Scratch

Being a former bartender (and Chambord being my all time favorite to experiment with!) I can give you all some great drinks utilizing Chambord!! And the best part--you can't taste the liquor which means you have to be CAREFUL!!!!!
1. Nuts and Berries --equal parts Frangelico & Chambord then fill w/ half & half (A great substitute for those who like White Russians)
2. Grape Crush-- shot of Absolut Kurrant, shot of Chambord, then fill w/ sour mix and top off w/ soda water (or 7-up/sprite for added sweetness) Then shake it (the drink you pervs!!) and serve. Tastes like a Grape Crush soda!!
3. Sour Patch Kid--shot of Bacardi Limon, 1/2 shot of triple sec, fill w/ sour mix. Dip rim of glass in Chambord then in sugar. With the sweet sugary rim and sour drink--reminds you of those gummy sour patch kid candies!!!!

I can go on and on and on with awesome tasting drinks that mask the alcohol tastes but then we'd all be so drunk it would definitely be "THE SHIP OF FOOLS!!!". (who drool).;)

Where did all our pics. go in our sinatures?? Did they delete them?

No, they're just disabled due to technical issues. They're supposed to be back within 24-48 hours (maybe). The same goes for the countdown timers.

I don't think I will comment on the toilet picture!

Never had chambord. I'll have to try it!

Ship of fools sounds like a good theme. Are we going to crown a King of Fools?

The framing on our house has been completed. Next up is electrical, heating and plumbing.

Damn! I know who I'm hanging out with at the bar! :)

Thanks for the great drinks!

Agreed!:hyper: A lady who knows her way around the bar and can recommend drinks that don't taste like alcohol is my new best friend!

Looking forward to trying some new things!
