I was planning this but you are more than welcome to do that!!! If you do, I can do an August 15 newsletter.

Tracy

Oh, no. I was actually reading about the way the Practice Cruisers were doing theirs and wondered if we had discussed it at all. So much info flows from this group that I can't keep up. :faint:

Thanks Andy!

Do you think it would be an adequate camera bag? Does it have enough protection/padding you think?

Robin--I think it may way to big to use as a camera bag. I just pulled it out of the closet to give it a good look over, there isn't much padding for protecting cameras or anything breakable.

Robin,
Got my free candy bar.....thanks for the calories, my friend !

The bag measures roughly 16" length x 10" deep x 11" high. I hope this helps!!!

Tracy -- Glad to hear your mother is doing better :grouphug:

:grouphug: Prayers & Pixie Dust to those that need it :grouphug:

We don't have REAS package -- so its the 90 day mark to book everything - hopefully the snorkeling trips don't fill up too fast. :goodvibes

2 of the cats seem to sleep as much as possible -- the third one (Fagan) has dedicated his life to causing mischief. Tonight - he climbed into the cup cabinet and broke one glass - and knocked down about 5 more (prob. looking for treats). Thankfully none of the animals were hurt from the glass.

Kmiles, I'm holding something ransom for you, contact me if you want it.

Barbara, At first I didn't like them so well but they grew on me, and Lindsay insisted she needed one.

Well I got up at 2:30 to be one of the fools standing around in the dark at DL on good morning america. I haven't watched the whole tape yet, but i did see howard's head at one point.

Then we left the park at 6 got breakfast and came back to stand, stand, stand. I love the gold vehicles, but i think they're gonna have a lot of fights. I told Lindsay about them and told her that it would be really hard to get on them. She says, thats okay mommy i don't want to ride them unless its not crowded. She is really good about waiting in lines, and not getting the exact ride vehicle she wants. Comes from growing up at Disneyland.

We watched the ceramonies this morning, hard to see as they were targeted for the media, but it was nice to be there. took an hour to get out of the area. Watched the show on the 50 years of disneyland. I would have liked to see more exhibits before the show. I also would have liked a different style show though it was nice. I just would have prefered more of a time line show, showing highlights by year of all 50 years.

We bought the 6 CD limited edition Disneyland music set. Actually I asked my mom if she'd buy it as an xmas gift for me, and she said yes. Then she calls me back and says, you might as well get one for your sister. So I only got to oogle at the box, won't get to open it till xmas. Oh well, if I bought it myself i wouldn't have as much money for the cruise.

Didn't stay for the parade or fireworks. too tired we were falling asleep. Howard worked til 1 am, then again tonight till 2am. Well got this week or next to watch it hopefully when it's not as crowded. I didn't see the point of waiting for hours to watch it when we won't be the first ones to see it.

TGIF!

Bought DD a camera last night ~ Sony DSC-L1, couldn't resist since it was $110 off regular price! Plus if you bought the camera they let you buy one 256 memory stick get one free! And since the memory stick also fits mine!LOL :teeth:

Sony had their "Ladies Night" last night so bought my 1gig memory stick plus extra battery and carrying case for both the camera and memory sticks! I think I'm all set in the camera department now?

Thanks MJ for the info regarding the CC #, the profile did not have mine so I added it!

I like the new site!

Have A Disney Day Everybody!

BTW ~ Barb, did you see him?

I noticed that the May cruisers have info regarding which nights will be formal and what the themes will be for lunches. Does anyone know where they got that information? More importantly where can we get that information for our cruise?

I think they got that info from the REAS lady. I'm not 100% sure, but it makes sense. Now that we are getting to the times when REAS people can do their reservations, they will no doubt report in with all the info that they get.

Kathy--

Several of them called DCL and asked if they could have the information. They made notes as the Cast Members were providing them with the information and then compiled it into a calender. From what I've read on Practice Cruiser's thread, all of the information is subject to change and shouldn't be viewed as a "sure thing."

I don't think they would have similar information for us yet. We'll probably have to wait until we get closer to August. I don't think DCL started giving them info on formal/semi-formal nights and lunch menus until about a month ago. So, that would mean we probably wouldn't get similar info until mid-June or so.

Does anyone have this?

I'm wondering if it's a nice bag, roomy which could double as a camera bag. It's one of the options for gifts on board the ship.

I was checking this out yesterday and was thinking that it would make a great bag to get on the ship to carry all those souveniers we'll be buying. Thanks Andy for posting the size of it. I think I may have to get one now.

JGE is happy to announce its first foray into the luggage market!

Because we know that many of the Sisterhood have babies and children that can, well, be quite a handful, we're proud to announce the all in one JGE Baby Bag!

Just like the common pet carriers, all you have to do is slip little junior or missy into the spacious compartment and zip it up. Then sling the adjustable straps over your shoulder and, ta da! You're hands are now free to carry the luggage!

The JGE Baby Bag comes in a wide variety of colors (red or light red) and is sized for children ages 1 month to 16 years.

If I can ever get Haley unglued from that pedestal, then I would love to have one of these. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Thanks for the info from everyone about the CC#. I did type mine without spaces with no luck. Maybe I'll try DH's tonight. I'll be sad if I can't log in early to make ressies!

Thanks!

UMTerp

Mine didn't work the first time for me, but it did the second time. I was the only one who got a card, and am not the lead person on the reservation, but was able to use my CC# and my birthdate to access the ressie.

For those of you who purchased the Canon Powershot SD500 recently, how do you like the camera? I think I am going to buy something this weekend. I missed the sale at Dell and the best price I can find online is $436 which includes tax and shipping I think from Profeel (http://www.profeelvideo.com/showpage.asp?itemid=5599&source=dealtime#supplied) Are there better places to buy? Also I'll need extra memory (1GB) and probably an extra battery. Any thoughts on where to get those for a good price?

Try ecost.com, overstock.com, amazon.com or bhphoto.com. Those are the ones I've found to be the best prices for electronics.

What type of media cards does it take, Kathy?

Sandisk 1GB Cruzer Mini USB Flash Drive $90 - 20% - $15MIR = $57
