No one cares to venture a guess on today's riddle?

10001110 looks remarkably like computer programming stuff, but since I don't understand that crap, I'll look elsewhere!

Hi Val,

We had friends visit DL/DCA that same time period last summer. In fact, we met up with them the Thursday of their trip. They commented on how it became significantly worse for crowds as the weekend approached. My recommendation is for Th/Fri. It will be busy, but doable. Use your usual strategies. Also, it may be busier for the 50th...difficult to know yet. The good thing about the 4th of July is that the locals are all usually going somewhere else for their get-away week/weekend after the 4th.

Hey, but any day at Disney is a great one! We would love to meet up with you for a ride or ice cream if it works out for your plans, not to worry if it does not. Have fun planning!

Barbara

(PS Tracy, Mel - great jokes!)

Donna or Barbara or Susan or any other SoCal DISer: Is DL on a Saturday the weekend after the 4th of July insanely busy or do-able? Trying to decide whether to go on TH/F or F/Sat. Any info would be appreciated!

Bob,
You're correct.

10001110 (binary) is 142 (decimal.)

Paul

I'll volunteer to keep the list of all the little girls (and boys) under 3 y.o. that are part of our group. If anyone wants to PM me with their childs name and age I can put together a list (matching up with the parents name/screen name). A lot of us have listed room numbers all ready--I can include that too--if you choose. Also--the lists would only go out to the parents who have submitted their child's info. I can then pass them out at HoJo's or in line on the 20th!!! It would be so fun for them to play together on the ship so if they see each other in Flounder's they'll "know" each other.

You figured it out and you didn't even know it.

Here's the answer:

2 (to the 7th power) + 0 (to the 6th) +0 (to the 5th) + 0 (to the 4th) + 2 (to the 3rd) + 2 (squared) + 2 (to the 1st) + 0 (to the 0)
= 128 + 0 + 0 + 0 + 8 + 4 + 2 + 0
= 142

Sorry I didn't see that Paul had already answered... :confused3 I was too busy punching away on my calculator. :teacher:

I though it would be nice to see ages of the kids on the ship. This isn't quite up to date, (I got the data a month ago and couldn't figure out how to post it)

OK, remember we were talking about the outlet near Disneyland during our chat the other night? Well, I just got more info on it. It is run by AMS-Liquidation and is located at 3 miles north of Disneyland at the corner of Harbor Blvd. and Orangethorpe. The address is 243 Orangefair Mall in Fullerton.

The Chamber of Commerce is offering a 10% off coupon that can be used on your entire purchase. Here's the link to it:

http://www.thechamber.net/cgi-bin/foxweb.dll/wlx/dir/wlxcpn?ec=lbyklLsiprtbx4mpmc&ID=HNDgKiGb

Apparently there are several other temporary outlets in California, but this is a permanent one.

We went to that place last summer Renee..
We actually got tons of good souvenirs, and trinkets for Meagan to give to friends and classmates there. Also got hooded sweatshirts that we used up in San Francisco for $10. There of course is some crap, but I actually found it had more "deals" than the Florida outlets. Of course I lasted 30 minutes in there then walked over to Circuit City with Meagan to look at the GOOD stuff :)

Cheers,
Grumbo

Yes, Emma will be 2 on Tax Day! I know Haley will be 2 on the cruise, too - any other 2 year olds on the cruise besides these three?

In our case, we will be putting the June final payment on Disney Visa, so technically we won't be paying the final payment until December (6 months same as cash). So I guess with the extra interest earned this will get us a second Bahama Mama? Or we can use it to paint the yacht this year!

Anyone besides me not want an upgrade? We have two perfect Cat 6 Deck 6 midship connecting cabins right down the hall from two other Cat 6 adjoining cabins for our group. An upgrade to any of these four cabins would mess us up (unless it was an upgrade to a Cat 1-2-3 which is unlikely), so we will leave the upgrades for everyone else. Good Luck Fools!

Kaleigh will also be 2. She turns 3 the end of September.

I don't want an upgrade either. I like our midship cat 6 cabin. I am sure they wouldn't upgrade us to even a cat 4.

Very cool table! It really puts things in perspective - very helpful to the parents (& kids) to see how many others are in the different kid's age groups!

Where did you get the data? I am thinking StatMan JazzMan??

Thanx for sharing. Will you be keeping it updated? (I hope!)

Oh my!! Shame on you for leaving Doris behind in the outlet and going to Costco without her! As if!

Kaleigh did really well at dinner in October. They had crayons to play with and the servers were great. Unfortunately, she didn't feel well for the entire cruise, so hardly ate anything. One night we had to bring her stroller to dinner and she fell asleep in it.
If she is still getting those 2 year molars come August, I am jumping ship!

I went through the list on page 1 and on the other site, since both have different data. I do plan on keeping it updated. By the way JazzMan helped me get rid of all that space, so it's easier to find now.

WASHABLE Crayola Crayons no less!! On our 4 night Wonder in November the girls got a fresh pack each night! The nightly kid's menu has coloring and activities on it along with the menu selections.

Wonderful Donna! Kudos to you for putting that data together yourself! Thanx for your willingness to keep it updated, too!

P.S. - My goal: get into the top 25 posters on the thread. Not really, but I felt like explaining why I've posted so much today. :rolleyes1

P.P.S. - To see the list of top posters, go to the Cruise Meets Board and click on the number in the Replies column to the right of this thread. (I am currently #26)

Oh no, I am #8. :earseek: Looks like I spend a lot of time posting here, but not as much as Mel! :rotfl2:

I think I'm in the top 50 --- :cool1:

But look at Mel's total :goodvibes

Jenny,
No problem. Your post has a more complete explanation of the answer.
