Most ships cruise the Caribbean as most of the time this sea is glass like and easy to cruise, I might have been unlucky, but the whole trip from Panama to LA via Acapulco and Cabo the sea was very active.

Oh boy! Better get a prescription for the patch!

I'm actually glad I ended up waiting to buy the tickets. The cost between the now-unavailable lower price of Southwest ($109) and the cost of Song ($115) is minimal. But, Song has better hours (arrive around 9:00 AM PT) and more entertainment options!

You can listen to music, play video games, watch TV, order movies, and even play against other people on the plane in a game of interactive trivia! How cool is that?

Hello Barbara--actually--it's mom and dad with all 7 kids (we did a family cruise 11/2003 when Addison was 7 months--probably the first time we were all together since my sister's wedding in 2000). All of the spouses/significant others were there too with kids (izzi's grandkids)!! 22 total--mom and dad, 7 kids and their s.o.'s, and 6 grand-kids (at the time!!)..
From l to r= Matt (kid #1), Vikki (#7), Mom, Becky (#5), Sarah (#3), Susan (#2--and no my dad didn't have an affair--she was adopted--can you tell I got asked that alot??), Andrew (#6), and me with my eyes closed (#4--the middle child )!!
Oh and seated in the wheelchair is pops!

We happen to be arriving May 14th. We don't arrive until after 4:00 PM and will miss the sail away party at the Port We are using Disney's Magical Express and won't have a car. I am not sure if this information helps at all.

We are staying @ BWV for the first night and hanging out at Epcot for the evening. Anyone else going to WDW on May 14th?

I will prob. be late to chat (again).... one our our neice's had to move up her wedding (due to grooms health - but prognosis is good), and instead of getting married on 6/18 - the date is now May 6th -- and the bridal shower is this Friday night - so tomorrow night we will be going out to pick up our gifts....

Good thing we went dress shopping this past weekend Otherwise - we would have to get our dresses too!

Dee -- hope everything is okay.

Dan -- I hope you are remembering to take your pain meds - really helps to get that first night of sleep.

Amanda, thanks for the names and places in the family. I thought it was your parents' cruise last year! How wonderful to have a family DCL photo with all seven of you and your parents!!! You are truly a beautiful family, inside and out!

Amy, the oldest is always the "coolest!" BTW, we're preparing for Star Wars here too! Bought Brian the "Yoda" talking doll, too cute! Bought a variety of toy figurines, my favorite being C3PO. And even better, we had a pretend dual with two of the new episode noise light sabers that were a ton of fun. Our kids think we are crazy, lol! We've been re-watching the first three episodes as a family too. Can't wait to see it!

Erica, it will be a busy but fun week for you and your family!
