Bill, Very many happy returns for your big birthday from this side of the Atlantic. Hope you have a fab day.

Denise, happy birthday to you too. Enjoy it.

Amanda - 2 Susans? How did you manage with 2 kids the same name? Must have been a nightmare, but easy for your Mom I would think. Only four of us in our family and my mother could never get any of our names right! And my Dad still can't tell my sister and I apart on the telephone!

Pam

Ok not sure if this is old news or not, but Disneyland now has hours posted for August.

OK, going back to sleep now. Whew that is all I havedone lately.

Pam -- I meant my brother Paul had the same type of cyst removed several years ago.....

P.S. Dan -- thanks for the update on DL hours !

Holy cow...when did that happen??? Amanda, did I loose a kid somewhere and your mom never told me??? You guys were always keeping secrets from me!!! Why am I always the last one to find out???

I really must pay more attention when reading the thread and looking at photographs! Sorry for being so dense, but you can have a good laugh at my expense! Allan has been doing that since Sunday when I told him I couldn't use my credit card until 1st May. He was very puzzled as my card actually say valid from 01/05, and I took that to be 1st May. I've only had credit cards for a million years, you'd think I'd be familiar with the concept by now!

You can tell my wife used to be a blonde in a previous life :wave2: - but one thing's for sure, she knows how to use a credit card - she keeps telling me "I use it, or I lose it!" :rolleyes1

Hey Lou, Lori, Lance, Luke, Lysette, Lexi, and Logan :grouphug:

just realised that #6 is due on Friday - hope all's well :wizard: - following the tradition you have so clearly established, and noting in particular your occasional involvement with the boards, can I suggest that you name the new offspring Lurker? :cheer2: :cheer2:

Golf ball is in Soarin' over Calinfornia, not California Screamin, if you look closely at the golf ball coming towards you on Screamin, you may end up with a very big headache.

:wave2:

I don't think they planned all of those Ls. I think it just happened by coincidence. ;)

You sure are chatty this afternoon, Mr. Big Cheeser! And we love it! :teeth:

For all you ohhh so experienced cruisers I have a question about dresses... How dressed is over the top for formal nights? I have a soon to be 15dd and 6 year old dd who have convinced me to buy them prom/flowergirl dresses and tiaras for all three of us (the boys refuse to wear tiaras or dresses :confused3 ) Will we look like a bunch of fools or since this is the fools board will we be fine amoungst our 500+ foolish friends?????

Any advice?

Thanks Pauline

Pauline I really think you will find all kinds on formal nights: people who are dressed neatly, people dressed for semi-formal, people in formal attire, etc. I believe your girls will be dressed splendidly! I can't fathom why the boys won't play along and dress accordingly?

Pauline - just visited your beautiful region last week for a day in Victoria! No you won't look fools - as RobinMarie says you'll see it all - to be honest, we prefer the dressing up bit on formal nights - we've got some wonderful photos - see our pic in the other place as an example.

Look forward to seeing your princesses!

Cheers

That sure was one L of a coincidence - and anyway, over here it's this evening - so off to bed! Ta-ta for now! :wave2:

Donna - thanks for picking up the deliberate mistake - I was just keeping pace with PamPat!

Now that you've reached through the haze of my oncoming alzheimer's (or alcohol - don't know which) I suddenly remember that after the last time on California Screamin' with DD Joy, I vowed never again!

Cheers

Pauline - your princesses will have company in their choice of formalwear. My daughter Lara (who will be 9) has also chosen a long pink "prom-style" gown (who knew they made them in child's size 8? :confused3 ) with beading, spaghetti straps and a chiffon wrap. Naturally, she "needed" a tiara too, so her indulgent Godmother bought her one for Christmas with Swarovski crystals in it.

The pictures of your family will be fabulous, and their memories of being a "princess" on a magical cruise will last a lifetime. Enjoy the moments!

Pam...I wasn't making fun of you! I was just glad Mandy identified them all! When they were growing up I couldn't keep track of them. When I called them, they all had at least 4 names before I got to the right one! Heck...there may have been two Susan's in there somewhere!
