I took Max out and slipped on the ice that formed because the STUPID builder refuses to put gutters up and the water that drips off the roof freezes all the way down out driveway. Now, I can not bend my knee more then about 25% nor can I straighten it. Of course, I have no established doctor, so as soon as 8am rolls around, I will have to start calling those on the list that are accepting new patients. I spent the night in the guest roon with my knee supported by a pillow. And DH has gone to New York City for the next 3 days. This is gonna be fun.
ANyone want to come play taxi driver?

I got to thinking about how I *thought* we only needed it for the shuttle from LAX to HISP, and then realized I may need it for the HISP shuttle to the port and the port-to-MCO bus (Mark is checking on the bus co.'s requirements, if any).
This booster will just be soooo much easier to travel with than her behemoth car seat. The booster is smaller, light weight and we can stash it in the luggage for our flight & then under the bed on the cruise (thanx for the storage offer Marsha, but I think we've found a solution!!).
If anyone is interested, these type booster seats typically cost about $15 and you can get them at ToysRUs, Walmart, etc. The requirements on ours (a Cosco) are at least one year of age, 29" tall and 30 pounds. These are federally approved for use in a motor vehicle, though not FAA approved.
Thanx, everyone for helping me "think outloud" to try and solve this problem. I hope others with car seat issues find a solution that is workable for them, too!
