Boy! Don't work the weekend because there are at least 10 pages to read to catch-up. So great that Bonnie (alias Disney Dudette #1) :earsgirl: :earsgirl: :earsgirl: has been posting.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO MARK & SANDRA :cheer2:

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY TO RENEE :bday:

Well here is my bio (better write it down because Bonnie will be testing you):
R.N., divorced, DD 29, DS 24, DS23. My daughter & 23 year old son are both engaged & both planning on getting married this year :bride: :bride: :groom: :groom:. I share "joint custody" with my son's two dogs Dodger a husky & Jake a jack russell. We have a Disney Cruise Family :grouphug: which started in 2001 via the boards and we will be reunited again on this cruise :boat: with Sandy, Ted, Denine, Jerry, & Kaleigh. Rumor has it that our friend from England, Darren, isn't coming. Can't wait to meet our new friends.

Rainy day here. Hope you all have a nice day. Toodles  :genie: JEANNE

Eileen, I'll save you a PM. I don't want to be included in the late diners group. I don't want to take a chance at getting a rotation with a lot of children. We like kids (especially Hailey!), but don't want to eat with them at late dining, they seem to lose it at that late hour. Thanks.

LOL, I feel the same way - that's why we have early dining. I don't want to put other people (and Haley) through a tired child having a meltdown during dinner. No one will enjoy themselves.

Ok I will do a bio!

Scott is a produce manager at a local grocery store chain. He has been with them for 3 years-prior to this he worked 14 years at another grocery store and 1 day they came in and told everyone that they were closing! Scott really accepted this well-and what made it even better was that his current company went back and bought out the remaining stores from his previous company!

I am a restaruant manager for Yum Brands, Inc. Yum owns and operates 5 different concept restaruants, Taco Bell, KFC, Pizza Hut, A & W and Long John Silvers. I am currently working at Taco Bell and I am ready to change! I think Taco Bell has the worst customers! I have been with Yum for 5 months-prior to this I was at BK for 5 years and McDonald's for 10 years. Both of my prior jobs were with a franchisee and I had adanced as far as I could-with Yum it is corporate and job posting for advancement are quite a common thing.

Scott and I have been together for 9 years-soon to be 10! We lead a normal life-not the "fags" you see on Jerry Springer! LOL We share 1 daughter- a 7 year old cocker spaniel named Fantasia!

We own DVC and have since October 1998.

This will be our 10th DCL cruise!

Hope you all enjoyed and I didn't offend anyone!

Dan

Is anyone bringing games or other activities to keep your children busy on sea days?

Hi Kathy  Other than her "GameBoy" and a couple of travel games we'll use before the cruise, I'm not planning to bring anything special. She will be at the Lab, the pool, or family activities with us most of the time.

Do you think it'll be a problem entertaining them on the sea days?

With this exact thought in mind the "minds of J.G.E." have gotten together with our friends at the U.S.A.F. and are offering the Ultimate in water skiing excursion during those long sea days.
Have you always wondered what it would be like to do Mach 2 along the water? Wonder no longer (or is that Magic no longer ;) ).
J.G.E. presents..................

Fighter Plane Skiing!!!
water-skiing.jpg

We will rendezvous at 1415 hours off of the coast of Mexico, in international waters (this makes it easier to avoid international incidents) and your little ones will have the ride of their lives. J.G.E. promises they'll experience nothing else like this during their cruise. The Mickey slide will be old hat to them.
First 3 cruisers will get "Top Gun" hats officially signed by Pete "Jazzman" our own ace!!!!

Cheers,
Grumbo

Hi Eileen,

I should have written you too! We are not going to join up with the Fools at dinner rotation either for reasons opposite of Tracy! ;) Our children are older - 14 & 10. We ask DCL to join us with a family/families who have children their age. Thus far, there is not a family/families on the Fools late seating who has similar ages/genders as our children that can make-up a table of 10, so we have not linked up with anybody. We are keeping our options open, so we are not going to commit to the Fools late dining rotation. We'll see you all lots though, we promise.

My apologies for not letting you know sooner. Hope this finds you healing and feeling better!

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY EVERYBODY!

I am in charge of DD's Valentine's Party @ school today. Her teacher just emailed me and said she was sick and would not be there. Now we can have a REAL party! Watch out kids the twister board is coming out! LOL! :rotfl:

EILEEN

We too are late diners that are not hooking up with others. We will be with our parents and I am sure will be grouped together with another family that hopefully has a child around DD's age (8). We are West Coasters and the late dining serves us better once we hit the Eastern Time zone. DD usually shuts the kids club down! :cheer2:

I am making PS reservations for our May trip this week. I am going to try for a Wishes and/or Illuminations Cruise (s). That means a couple of mornings up by 4:00 am to try to snag the cruises! YIKES!

I agree with BOTH of you! We were booked on late dining on our last cruise and weren't going to subject anyone to a hungry/cranky Lara at that hour!!! (Especially since we were on LAP, which seemed to have very few children.) Our head server noticed her absence at dinner the first night. We explained that we wouldn't be bringing her and, presto magic, we were on early dining! Of course, both Haley AND Lara are going to be perfect little "princesses" at our table, right??? ;) Just kidding - Lara's really looking forward to having Haley at "her" table!

Arlene

Do you mean this Darren...from the boards who then became a server on the Magic....if so, I was wondering what he was up to....did he go back to England or does he still work for DCL. Had not seen him on our last few cruises.

So I now know how it is to live like Mel (Amish)! I woke up this morning and we had no electric, which means no water, cable or internet! I sent the young uns out to get water-but we don't have a creek near by! Electric came back on, but the cable, internet and water was still out! Why have electric if I can't have the rest?? :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

That was the longest hour of my life-I don't know how you do it day after day Mel.

Dan
