It is VEGEN...I don't know he somehow thinks i work for WDW studios making popular amniated movies. My protector, Mark did the search for me...yes, ok , i admit, i look at him as my protector..woudn't hurt to have a MAN to perhaps look after the sisters once in a while... or wait a minute, maybe he is really Sandra???? and perhaps a sister???!! Don't even think about it Mark!!! Can ya' tell how interested I am in it overall - I'm here instead!...although Chris just won the first challenge and will be in the final three. I'm rooting for Chris - the women left are either PMS women or too young!!! Man, you guys are up very late for a Sunday evening on the east coast...go to bed and get some sleep! Though, it makes it more fun for me on the pacific coast when you are all up late.

I told her that the people in California are a lot slower then us and it takes them about 3 hours to finally get it! Ah Barbara, Mark is a tease but harmless....it the other LOONEYHOODS you gotta watch out for!! LOL!!! Actually, Sisters, Mark helped me out for the 2nd time..... tonight with Vegen and the first time he was the one that tipped me and warned me about Grumbo, Jazz and Izzi getting on with me on my other chat where i am mod...

I think he has the upmost repsect for the sisterhood than any other Looney hoods...Let give him a round of applause and perhap a chance for him to come to our side....You never know, he may be good for us!!!! But of course, he has to be on a trial basis first.....and at any time, we can strike him right off...

Yes, we'd love to hook up with you and others at DL/DCA...we're AP holders so we'll be ready to meet. Dh has more vacation days than we expected, and I have the summer off with our kids. That would be great! If you guys need discounted tickets to various CA locations, let me know. Dh gets some good discounts from his company.

We are doing exactly the same Paul.
I would go through ALL of the hotels that you are interested in and book the best price you can find, and keep checking back a couple of times a week. I know that sounds a bit extreme but I booked in at the Paris Hotel for four days and got it for $119 per night and a $10 discount for AAA (we have CAA). That rate is now up to $154 for three of the 4 nights we have booked. We stayed there this summer and it is a wonderful hotel and very central. As for shows we are going to see the new Cirque du Soleil show. Have seen Mystere and "O" and they are superb. IF you are interested "O" is a great evening. You can book (I think it is 3 months in advance) and would do it as soon as available as tickets go fast.
We also did the day trip to the Black Canyon at the Hoover Dam. It is a great trip for a day which is wonderful for adults and kids alike. Website is http://www.blackcanyonadventures.com/ . We are flying into LAX and driving over as the difference in flights and the one way car rental were so prohibitive that this is a much better deal for us. We are leaving for LA on Sunday August 14th, booked into Vegas for 4 nights and then going over to LA. We may cut the trip short to 3 nights but will play it by ear. We saw Elton John this summer while there and he was great. Either he or Celine Dion are playing at Caesars Palace.
Anyway good luck. Shop around though as the prices go up and down and you can always "rebook" if need be to take advantage of the better prices.

Thanks for the info.

We are planning on booking a room and re-booking as the promos (hopefully) become available. We'll be doing a one way car rental from Las Vegas to LA. (I get a pretty decent rental rate through my employer for the car and JetBlue had a great airfare.) Any tips on the drive from Las Vegas to LA? I'll be checking a mapping site, but it's always better to have some tips from someone who's done the trip.

Wow, everyone has been very busy posting. I go away for the weekend and come back to 5 pages of posts to read! They were good ones though.

Anyway, we got back from Hershey last night about 8:30. We had a blast. It was little chilly, but Haley still managed to ride so many rides. We even saw Santa's reindeer. Hershey Lodge was a great place to stay so we think we're going to make this a yearly tradition. Now I have to go to Costco and get the digital pics printed that I took or It'll take me days to print them out (I took 79).

Hey Renee, meant to tell you that DS Alex had his haircut at the Barber Shop on Main Street, the last day of our vacation.. We waited about 30 mins, was there at 4:30. In the meantime we had PS for Tony's for 5:15 and then had the MMVCP so it worked out great. He had his hair all spiked. It was a woman that did it and she did a fantastic job!! Alex looked so cute!!

Glad to hear that you got his haircut there and that there wasn't a long wait. I think I'll definitely have Haley's hair cut there again.
