LOL! Hey Grumbo - I didn't have time to verify your story against any news sources this morning. Last time I thought you had "doctored" a story because it sounded too weird. Then I read the Toronto Star and found the same story!!! Some days, truth truly is stranger than fiction!

Hi Barbara! Well, temps in the 60's wouldn't be too hard to take in November!!! We're probably getting our first SNOW tonight

Christmas would feel different in a warm place, though. I'm thoroughly brainwashed in the whole Bing Crosby "White Christmas" mindset. I'd love to try being warm some year, though!

DD's speech about the Cruise apparently went pretty well yesterday. She said everyone laughed about Daddy telling her it would be educational. (She of course told everyone she would be in the Kids' Club) She also told about getting Pen Pals from "Mommy's Online friends". Goodness knows what the teacher thinks!!! She modestly gave herself a 3 out of 4 ("because you can't say you were the best") but she's waiting to hear the teacher's mark.

Thanks again for any DL info - I'm thrilled you and your DH are willing to provide us with "expert" advice!

Good morning everyone...ER, good afternoon that is..

Ok, i just woke up 1/2 hour ago!! Yep, i know it is 3:20 PM!! Good thing my DH had off from work today (NJ schools are closed). I was coming down with something last night, cold, coughing or something so i slept all day. I was not going to be sick!! I refuse it!! Esp. since i am leaving to WDW in 18 days.

Pretty scarey what happen in NJ!! My Sis in law parents live in the area. My parents in law live an hour north.

DonnaDavid, Forgive and forget...remember "clean slate!!" We worked it out by PM's.

Grumbo, gee have fun tonight...I loved Olivia when i was a kid...From Grease to "Let's get Physical"!! She must be up there in age now!!

GRUMBO - I did read your article on the NJ Air National Guard jet. My loyalty to DH's retired status from that wonderful organization did not stop me from chuckling at your edited version. Especially the part about the interpreter.

It hadn't occured to me that news from our little state would make it's way to Canada. It's important to us because of the locality. Is Canada afraid next time one of our jets may stray really far off course and reach your neighborhood? Man, NJ takes enough of a hit without attacking Canada by mistake!!!!

I don't think the Canadians are concerned about you attacking or invading. We may have some philosophical differences, and one particular MP from Arlene's neck of the wood who is always slamming the States, but I think as a country, and people, we like our neighbours to the south and I have always enjoyed my interaction, and visits from, and with Americans.

If we use Mears Transportation and manage to fill the bus (capacity 57) the final cost will be $7.04 per person. If bus leaves the Port by 10:00am or so, it should put us at Orlando Airport by 11:00am.

Andrew Derek, while trying to see if Emily's new DIS name works(it doesn't - now I'm really going to get PMS), I read that Alice is asking about DL. Do you have a park map of DL and if not, would you like one? For that matter, would anyone else like one as I have serveral? For some reason, I've hoarded about 5 and can't bring myself to throw them away. Must be some PMS thing, right Grumbo?

Before I get blamed for that MP's idiotic ramblings, let me clarify that she is NOT my elected Member of Parliament, NOR would I ever have voted for her in the first place!!!! She truly deserves to be kicked out of the government for her moronic public statements about Americans and American politics, but unfortunately, we're in a minority government situation and the Prime Minister cannot afford to reduce the size of his government by even ONE seat! His "coalition" government is barely hanging by a thread now, and they've only been sitting for about one month!

Your elections may end up in court, but at least they end! We can just keep going back to the polls until someone finally wins a majority of the seats. Then THEY can decide how long to hold power (up to a maximum of five years.) We just elected this government, but in the latest polls, we would do the same thing all over again if the government fell tomorrow. Same Prime Minister, same minority total of seats, same ineffectual accomplishments. Gotta Love Politics!
