Did anyone actually view the Curacao video this week?

I ran it on my home PC last night, and Martin walked by as it was starting. So we both watched all of it, and Lara joined us for the last 10 minutes.
It's an excellent video and really captures everything available on the island. The hard part will be choosing what to do/see in the limited time we're there. That's one port I'd love to spend a few extra hours in!
Our plan for now is to go to the Curacao Sea Aquarium for their interactive snorkelling adventure and then do some shopping in Willemstad. The video reminded us about the floating bridge and the floating market that we want to show Lara too, as well as the snorkelling with sea turtles (not at the aquarium). What to do, what to do?????
I'm eagerly awaiting Disney's list of excursions to see what our options are, although we may make our own plans, especially for the Seaquarium. Anyone else have ideas of what they want to do?

kmiles said:Glad you liked the video Arlene. After watching the video I got the impression that Curacao may be similar to St. Martin, which I love.
I really hope Disney gives us some shore excursion info soon! Who wants to wait until the last minute to plan?I want to start now, now, now!

I still haven't found the binoculars. Something tells me they are in a yet to be unpacked box in the basement. Guess I will go down there later and see what is what.
kmiles said:I wonder how Disney will handle check in?!?It's going to be odd not boarding the Magic from the Disney terminal. Kinda sad in a way... But, I'll get over it once I'm on the ship!!!

I'm happier that we disembark in a DCL terminal versus embarking in one ... disembarking with other cruise lines can be less than enjoyable and is one experience I do not wantGrumbo said:I'm actually looking forward to this aspect of the cruise. It is totally different to what we're all used to, I'm wondering if they'll have some kind of "farewell" for the ship as it leaves for the final time, ceremonies etc. Also will they have a welcome for the Magic on its' return to Port Canaveral? I know it gets in so darn early in the morning but this is one of the attractions (for us anyway) of this cruise. The new and unusual aspects of the repositioning cruise and the ports, and the 14 days are great
My daughter has her Mickey hands from a previous trip to WDW all ready to take with her to wave to the folks in L.A. .
Don't know about the rest of you but now we're into 2005 this cruise seems more "real" and that it is within the forseeable future
Cheers,

NYGiantsRule! said:I didn't know they had bushwackers on the ship. I spent a week in Pensacola one time and tried several different versions. They are yummy. Always have a Konk Kooler when we are on CC. Sailaway Party on WOnder in early December, we had Pina Coladas with Strawberry Daiquiri on the top. That was very good too.
