Coachycp and I enjoy the ribbing it is funny and we soak it up. Just wanted to make sure you all know that we don't take offense to the ribbing we get a good chuckle from it. He called me from I think it was Khols when he was picking out his khaki shorts to make sure they were the correct color. We have had a lot of fun with this. I wore a different coaching shirt one game because the other shirt did not get washed and it stunk and he gave me crap saying thanks for giving me a heads up We have a lot of fun and win our lose our kids get after it and that makes it special.

Very nice. I've met many of nice teens. I try to focus on those teens instead of the few that give the group a bad name.

Did anyone read the latest post? It states the opening time for for the Port Canaveral terminal is changing to 11:00 on August 2nd. Has anyone else heard this? I hate being the first to do anything, and I always like to get on the ship early.

According to the docs I just got "Arrive on time. Boarding usually starts around 1:00 PM and everyone has to be onboard by 3:45 PM"

Haven't seen that one yet. I'm going to have to go read the main board and see what's up. I don't like being the first one to do something either and we always get to the port at 10am or a little before.

I read that too but it wont make too much difference to me I guess since I'm taking Disney transportation from my resort so I'll get there when they want me to! I figure an extra hour or so at the Poly vs. an extra hour onboard is kind of a toss-up anyway.

Okay, I just read this on the main boards. It should be really interesting at the port that morning. I really hope it doesn't take away from our time on the ship. I always like to board as soon as I can and enjoy the ship so I am hoping it doesn't affect the boarding time.

Poop. Well, lucky I hadn't finalized our rental car yet.

I was going to put our drop off time at the Budget in Cape Canaveral at 9, hoping to be at the port at 9:30.

If this is really the case, I guess I'll put our car drop off time as 10:30. No sense waiting out in the hot sun I suppose.

On a happier note, our PASSPORTS came in today!!! We are all unexpired now, and I'm going to complete our on-line check in now! WOO HOO!!

I feel your pain. We had just figured out how we are going to handle transportation (some will be at the Hyatt and need transportation and some at WDW with cars) and now we are back to square one trying to figure things out.

The two cabins in our party that are not concierge show a port arrival time of 10:30 - 11 as of right now.

Our TA has dealt with Disney for years and we are putting a call into him tomorrow to see what he has to say. I'll let you know if I find out anything.

I just don't want to show up at 11am and find out that they started letting people in at 10am.

Why couldn't they have waited a week or two to do this.

Deb - you might want to do your online check-in before you finalize your rental car plans. On our reservations the 10:30am - 11am arrival time still shows but then there is nothing until 12pm. According to what DCL has put out there they may make you wait until your port arrival time before entering the terminal. Since this is all new, not sure what DCL will do.

I would think there has to be flexibility in the beginning for cruises that have had the opportunity to book everything online. I don't think the message is going to reach everyone for the first few weeks. I guess we'll see. It does sound like it was pretty tight in the terminal with all the extra Dream passengers. I wonder if they are really going to start boarding closer to 1 PM instead of noon?

We now have 8 staterooms participating in Fish Extender. Reminder I'm closing it after this weekend.

I read on another thread that they held their DIS Meet in the Bon Voyage Lounge. I haven't read any other place that groups have met. Don't know if this helpful?

This is a possibility too. I got to thinking about Deck 13 forward and since I haven't been on the ship I don't know if there is any shade, which could get very uncomfortable in August. So now I'm thinking either by the pool on deck 11 or one of the lounges. I'm leaning more toward the lounge because I think it will give us more room.

It might be less crowded in a lounge like the Promenade Lounge we went to for other DIS meets on the Magic and Wonder. I had been reading threads to see where other DIS groups met, and this is the first time anyone has mentioned a place. I even started a thread but there were no responses.
