I didn't even know there was any type of podcast until very recently when I read it on the forums. What do they talk about? If it's anything like the discussion forums, it will be easy to get hooked! I'm starting to feel lost if I don't have my Disney update each day!

The DIS Unplugged is a weekly podcast discussing all things Disney. They talk about Disney news, any updates in the parks, restaurant reviews, shopping in Disney, they did a Disney weddings podcast, etc. it is our weekly avenue into the world of the mouse. On the home page of the DISBoards you will find a link to the podcast.

I have been catching up from their first podcast in July of 2006. I just listened to the original Bob Memorial show. I have driven 1300 miles this week and have listened to nothing but the DIS Unplugged. What will I do when I am caught up??

I also listen to WDW Radio with Lou Mangello. Do you listen to other ones too?

Would you be interested in listening to the most recent podcast while we are sailing on the Magic? I was hoping to have our own little Podcast Cruise.

I listen to him too - loved his interview with Ridley Pearson! I also have Ricky Briganti on itunes but so far I don't like his as well.

Yes, and I went out and purchased the Kingdom Keepers after that (fun books). I really like the interviews Lou does. He really gets some great people to discuss Disney.

I received a phone call from our son Ryan today. He said that he is now engaged with his lovely future bride. He was so excited while he was sharing his experience. And since Kim (disneymom8489) was teaching class I was the first he called.

Neener, neener, neener babe.

I have been calling in to check on stateroom availability for our August 1 cruise over the last few months and it really opened up in the past few weeks. I think that when final payments were due, people opted out of the cruise. Several category 3 rooms are available (even the good midship ones), so I think that perhaps some of the cat 1 and 2 people might have "jumped ship" and a few waitlists are clearing.

So, if you were hoping to change your room location, I suggest you contact Disney. Changing rooms in the same category is very easy and is done quickly. If you change categories, I would expect it to be expensive.
