The only other thing that I'd like to suggest, that in addition to the questions and notes - could we each add like a paragraph or two about the port so the kids can read it before they go. Also a picture of where it is on a map would help.

I completely agree. I was not in charge of the last journal just did some port information... I think it really helped the kids remember what they did where... That was 15 nights... I am lucky to remember yesterday right now myself.


Going to enjoy a weekend all by myself. DH and DS left at 5 am to go canoeing and camping... Going to get a pedi and highlights.. then an evening with some girl friends. Maybe some shopping too!

Lori I loooove those sketchers I might need to get them, just don't tell DH. I have bought three sandals claimining them all for the cruise and needing to break them in. I do not think I have an excuse for these....more toned legs?

I just looked at the navigator from the 11 night cruise. It looks like the wine tasting was at 1:00 on the first sea day on that cruise. Does anyone have anything booked for 2:00 on the first sea day?

I'm also thinking more and more to do Corsica on our own.

When do you think we will get our cabin assignments?

Are you done planning your trip to Disney? I just booked for next Feb.

great idea! We can always have a meet around 12:30-12:45 (so kids can come if they are not all off in their quests or whatever) and then adults who want can head to the wine tasting. That's a great idea. I am sure a 10 night nav has to come out before the baltic. I can always ask someone to post the at sea day.

Our trip to Disney is next week and it is just a short one but we have been to Disney five times in the last year and so with Aug vacation time is getting short We are planning on doing a few days before our dream sailing next year and fingers crossed the Disneyland ABD! So hopefully my WDW cravings will be satisfied lol! Have fun planning for Feb. That's a nice time of year weather wise.

In terms of room assignments I hope soon but I am thinking we are going to have to wait some where between 60-30 days. The average is 40. Fingers crossed for all of us!

We decided to change our Villefanche excursion to Cannes, St. Pauls and Grasse. So I was able to get a latest look for those who haven't booked.

Beach Break in Corsica and Vintage convertible in Villefranche are both unavailable.
Tea is still sold out and brunch is either sold out or there is only 1 time available 11:30 on day 10. That's the time I have booked, so I don't know if that's it's showing availability.
Dinner has TONS of availability
Nights1,3,5,6,7 have every time available
Nights 2 & 8 only have 6,6:30,8,8:30,9available
Night 4 everything time is available except 7:30
Night9 - has all times except 8
Night 10 - only 6:30 and 7 available.

I hope that helps those of you who haven't had a chance to book yet. Beach Break was available when I started booking, but now is gone...... So those of you who have it, consider yourselves lucky. I'm hoping more teas will come on line at 75 days out... but I doubt it and might have to grab one once onboard......

Thanks Mindy, it's not whether he's pay for 2 events, it's that I don't think we could EAT at 2 events. I'm still going to hold out for the 1st sea day. If I can't get it, I'll have to deal... I got him to FINALLY agree to couples choice, so I don't want to press my luck with that one. Tea might not work out anyway, as our ressie is at 3 for our spa treatment and I don't know what time tea is... I figure it doesn't start until at least 2, since we've been at brunch at 11:30 and still there at 1............... and they have to set up for tea, so 2 won't work for a 3pm spa appt...... so I might have to give up the dream unless I can snag a first sea day early brunch, Darren won't want an 11 or later with a massage at 3.....

Today, I was able to replace the suitcase that tore during our trip last month to Ohio. Anyone familiar with Eagle Creek? Great product, great quality (have 2 carry-ons and a larger trunk style), large price tag. I got this:

for $59.93 plus tax!! Not in this color, more of a rust that goes w/the 2 carry-ons. I bought it (using a gift card even...no $ on my end) and left before they figured out that this was a serious find!

Yes, but it was the only one there. They have others on sale, but nowhere near that price! I think it was probably either returned by someone thinking it could be a carry-on (too big), or just hidden and left over from a season or 2 ago. Look at REI outlet.com. Stay away from High Sierra, though. That's the brand that ripped at the seam on first use.

Various pieces of luggage keep showing up at my home in boxes. This has been going on for about 3 months now. None of the boxes have been opened, none of it has been checked. I know somewhere in there is a pacsafe knapsack for my DH and a fanny pack for me. The other day a large box came, DH says they're rolling duffels (which he claims will be easier to travel with than our suitcases)...don't know the brand of anything or the cost...DH just keeps ordering...LOL...I guess I'll care as I see the bills. Already paid for the pacsafe stuff...I'm afraid of the other stuff.

One would think that was a good idea...but they're not my boxes...I didn't order them...I've been taken to task for opening things that are not mine in the past

I even have a rug I ordered for the dining room 6 months ago...it's all rolled up still...never been checked...that one I ordered, but it's too heavy for me to unroll myself....

How's everyone's day going??? Nothing exciting here, except for dealing with a useless hotel concierge in Spain (Kim knows what I'm talking about). Still no room assignment or tea ressie... :-( Darren is again waffling about couples choice, so my double spa appointments might be on!!!!! I might just dump him and make him suffer!!! I'm giving him one more day then going to drop it, as I don't think it's fair to keep it held up for someone who might want it!!!!!

We have 2 rolling duffels and love them. They are very easy to travel with.
