On another note....Dn and I leave in 12 days. I am running to staples today to buy some ink and magnet paper so I will let you all know how the printing goes.

Yes, Mary is correct I did mean CD.....OMG....I leave 15 days from today...DH is starting to put together the adult FE today...may take a few days to complete.. one's actually done, but he has about 11 more to do....it's so exciting.

Well, I have made it easy on myself since I'm not doing FE's, not dressing up for formal night(s), not bringing Pirate costumes, maybe not even magnets!
(BOY DO I SOUND DULL)

But, I feel good that it has all come together since I just booked a little over 60 days ago and my "big" vacation this summer is the 6 week trip I am currently still on in the US. Was not sure if I had enough time to plan everything but it's all fallen into place nicely. (well so far!)

Anyway, I am still shopping for a few last minute items and this weekend I found Fit Flops at Dick's Sporting Goods for $14.98 !!
They were not exactly the ones I saw on the Internet for $59 but I really like them and they have been comfortable all day. Much better price than the $95 Keens I originally bought for excursions. (and returned)

Also saw misters at Bookstone but they were $20 and required 2 AA batteries. If I can't find any others, I may get one for the 3 of us to share.
Checked out noise cancelling headphones but that's not in the budget right now.....

I don't think you've missed all that much. FE's will be given out whenever we want to, Lori is doing the first day. Peter is our CD. Erin wants to make sure she has how many kid journals are needed by room, and to make sure everyone writing a page has turned one in. Other than that, I think it's been the same.

OMG....I leave in 2 weeks...I cannot believe it.

Finished day 1 of week 7 of c25k today!!! Can't wait to run in Paris!!! Only 12 more days until we get on the plane!!!!! I think my first activity in Paris will be a visit to the Louis Vuitton store to do my shopping!!!!!!

I did week 5 day 2 today and next up for me will be the 20 minute solid run

I figured out I will make it to week 7 day 2 before we leave for Barcelona.
I'm going to take a break for the 13 days of our trip and then get back to it.
Not sure if I will be able to start again with week 7 or if I will need something less strenuous at first.....

I don't want to alarm anyone, but I have been reading on the Aug 7th meet thread that air traffic controllers will strike on August 15 as well as other dates that do not appear to affect our travel. Sure hope this does not affect our travel to Barcelona on the 16th or anyone else's travel

When I try to google, I don't find a whole lot of info and it appears this may just add a delay to your travel but not cancel the flight?

Anyone else seen any info on this?

Sunday, Aug, 1, Barcelona ATC's will call in sick on Monday, again. Be prepared for delays.
Update:-Saturday, 7/31 Spanish air traffic controllers announce they will have a meeting on Tuesday.

Spanish Air Traffic Controllers announce strike dates. 31 July, 1, 7, 15, 23 and 31 August.

Here is the info from the Aug 7th thread. It looks like it's just Barcelona ATC's that are striking and just one day a week for the month of August. I believe that most of our flights will not be effected. I was concerned by Shawn saying Paris was included, as they just went on strike a week or so ago in Paris. I followed that strike closely, and Air France cancelled 0% of international flights and cancelled 20% of medium haul European flights. There were some flight delays, but most flights got off. I'm personally not too worried about this, as it looks like the dates coincide with any of our dates. We fly into BCN on the 17th and home on the 29th. What I can find, it looks like they went on strike around the same time as the french workers. It looks like this is being widely reported in Europe, not here.
