Hi Keever!
You gave the ages of the boys you are traveling with...who is who? Rene 14, Jabob 15, and Danick 16????

Rene is my husband. Jacob 16 and Danick 14 are our sons.
The 15 year old is our neighbour's son. They will be traveling with us but not in the fish extender group.

They know we are going to Washington and then Baltimore to take in a baseball game. They then think we are going to Busch gardens in Williamsburg. The problem with my son is that he is always busy planning "what's next" instead living in the moment. If he knew about the cruise, the first 9 days of the holiday would be 'waiting' to get on board and I don't want that.
We are heading up to ny after Baltimore and staying in double tree in jersey city ( where I hope I can wash all our clothes!)
Not sure how we are going to do the reveal -night before/ morning/ terminal- all ideas welcome! I was wondering whether we would see ship coming in from hotel?? But guessing that would involve an early morning ( I don't really want to wake them, knowing how long the day could be
I hope they love it, it's the only Disney thing we haven't done ( we even got married in wdw- we are THAT committed to the mouse... Kids missed that by 5 years though!)

How exciting!
Whatever you do, catch the reaction on video!

Thank you everyone who sent me your names for the FE gifts! I am still missing a couple, but now I can get a head start on the gifts! Can’t wait! Amy

Hi Amy,

I tried to send a PM but not sure if I did it correctly.
Sherry (me)
Dean (DH)
Jen (DD 21)
Ben (DS 17)
Willy (DS 11)

Thanks, Amy!

I pmed iluvdiscruises but I am wondering if anyone has information regarding her second cabin with the grandparents and dis-sister/aunt. Does anyone know if this person is an adult? I want to make sure I have an age appropriate FE gift for her.

Good call. I assumed she was an adult, but maybe not!

Thank you for checking! Yes she's an adult! I pm'd our names as requested. Sorry for delay, I'm new to disboards on my phone and had no idea I had messages!! I used to use it exclusively on the computer and knew what I was doing!!

Hi
I have updated the fish extender and cruisers lists on the website.
Let me know if there are any errors.

I am starting to organize the FEs stuff.

Just wondering if there is something exclusive to Canada that might be appreciated by my fellow FEs. Do you have Smarties or Aero bars? I would stash a little bottle of ice wine but it is awful, in my opinion. Of course, KinderSurprises are confiscated at the border.

What is a kindersuprprise?

Sad that you don't know Kinder Surprise. You cannot have a complete childhood without them. They are hollow chocolate eggs with small toys and puzzles inside. Kids collect the toys. Many toys have small parts so the child can build the toy surprise. I believe they are not sold in the USA because these small parts can be a choking hazard for the under three set.
Too bad because they are cute.

We do have smarties but I am not sure about Aero bars.

Ah, yes, welcome to the US of A, the poster child for "Nanny State."

As I was figuring out my FE gifts I was looking at the ages of the children. I figured I would share if parents want to help the child(ren) make friends amongst the FE. These are only the ages of the children participating on the FE but I bet there are more on the Meet Thread that are not.

Boys:

We have 15 boys:

One 5 year, four between 8-9 years old , four between 10 - 12 years old, three 14 year olds and two 16-17 year olds. There is another boy but there was no age

Girls:

We have 13 girls:

One 2 year old, two 4-5 year olds, three 7- 8 year olds, three 9-10 year olds, two 13 year olds, and one 15 year old.

There is also a 21 year old girl listed as well.

I think the boy with no age is also 5. I thing I remember seeing it in a earlier thread and excited that Nathan, my 5yo, will also a boy as was as a couple girls his age.

i think the other 5 yo is my michael, I missed his age in one of the posts. they are both excited to see the list has a few kids there age too. I got our printed maps of Mk & HS today, but the kids didnt pick up on the fact that we go to wdw so i may keep that as an extra surprise for now.

we have the early seating for dinner.

I have 7 year old son ( looks 10)
And
3 year old daughter ( acts 15!)

The only reason we are not FE ing is packing logistics
If we love the ship then maybe we will join in when the ship is in med next year!
It sounds like so much fun :-(
