Is anyone getting the Rainforest Pass? I am thinking about ordering a day pass and trying it out. Not sure if I want to invest money when I am not sure we would use it. I was thinking about ordering two day passes so my DH and I could check it out together. Is that possible?

I booked two rainforest passes. I may purchase more if I like the experience.

How do you book a Rainforest pass? My husband and I went on a 3 day cruise a few years ago and it was our favorite retreat. I cannot wait to go again. Please let me know how I can book this.
Thanks,
Tracey

I am also going to try the Rainforest Pass this trip. This will be our 6th cruise and I have never had time for it but now that my son is older I am looking forward to me time:cheer2:

Tracey,

If you are getting the day pass go to the DCL site and click on planning center. The form is under in-room gifts. I think you can either call in your order or fax in the form. My only concern is that I read that you can only use the day pass during port days! Not sure if that is true because there is nothing on the site that mentions that.

Thanks for the information on the rainforest passes. I am so very grateful to have all my disboards friends to help me plan this vacation. I look forward to meeting everyone.

Finally got the VGT room number I've been waiting for.

For all in my Fishie Group: 7076.

Hope that everyone who might be still waiting lots of pixie!!!pixiedust:

Sorry but what's a rainforest pass?

It is part of the Vista Spa:

. You can even sink into deep serenity in our rainforest-themed aromatherapy steam rooms or a sauna fashioned after a Roman bath. Warm tiled chairs soothe while fragrant vapors holistically elevate mind and body

Hi,
The Disney Cruise Line website lists pre-purchase items like the rainforest spa, alcohol, water, etc. Is there an advantage to the pre-purchase or can I just wait until we board and purchase everything then?

From what I've read you can only purchase day passes prior to departing. On the ship is it only the weekly pass.

Water and alcohol are available after you board, it is expensive. You are allowed to carry on as much alcohol, water, etc as you like, the only problem with carry on is that you have to keep it with you until the staterooms are available at around 1:30.

Thanks for the info, NTOFD. I guess the prices are expensive prepurchase as well as on board...it is best to bring your own if you can.
;)

Does anyone know why the DCL website, when you view your registration, is a day ahead in the countdown?

There are 10 days until we sail, but the website says it is 9 days. Hey, if they want us to set sail on Thursday Aug 16th, I'm down with that!

Not counting today, as it has already started, and not counting Friday the 17th, then it is then 9 days. :cool1: I like their fuzzy math! :thumbsup2
