You don't have to participate in the FE if you don't wish to. If you don't provide your cabin information for that purpose, you shouldn't be assigned to an FE group. To be safe, you might want to post a message on the board saying that you don't want to be in the FE, but you did want to be in on the discussions and other planned stuff, like the Dismeet.

Hi all! This is our first cruise together as a family! My husband and I were married last June by a judge as we were moving cross-country. So we are bringing my wedding dress and we are going to have our vows renewed on the ship! We are so happy to have found our "forever family" together and celebrate our love on the Fantasy! Hello everyone...as you know the FE groups are on the FB page. They just opened up a group D for FE. As far as I know there are 2 families at the moment. If anyone is interested in doing FE or in being in more than one group (I'm assuming this is allowed), you are welcome to join us. I think it closes at approximately 12 cabins. My family and I went on the Fantasy to the eastern Caribbean last year and are excited to visit the western side. Has anyone been to any of the places before?

I am trying to look at port adventures for my 7 and 10 year old boys.

We want on the Western on the Magic in October 2010, so we have visited Grand Cayman and Cozumel before. On that trip, we did the Dolphin Encounter and Turtle Farm on Grand Cayman and booked an excursion on our own to Nachi Cocum beach club in Cozumel.

We are going to Nachi Cocum again this trip. I haven't yet decided what we are doing in Grand Cayman. I first considered a beach excursion, but since we are doing one in Cozumel (and going to Castaway Cay) wasn't sure if that was overkill. We might just get off the ship shop and visit Margaritaville there this time.

My children are 8 and 13 now, but my little guy is not a strong swimmer, so no snorkeling excursions for us. I've heard the excursions that go to Stingray City in Grand Cayman are very good, if your boys might like that sort of thing.

The FE group is organized on a Facebook page, I'm not sure if there is a way to join unless you go through Facebook. You could PM the organizer, Petra Woodman, and ask. Her disboard name is WoodDisney.
