Oh,, my gosh mine thought the same thing here this morning. It was a heavy frost and they were hoping it was a "SNOW-DAY." LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!

SHHHHHH!!!! Don't jinx us!! LOL. ...Although Jen has already had snow.
Anyone else married to a teacher?? Nothing is funnier than watching your elementary age child sitting next to your teacher-DH when the "school closings' come on - and only one of them ends up with a school that is closed!! Honestly, I have to run into another room before I start laughing... Of course, then I get to wave goodbye when I head off to work...oh, winter is really coming, isn't it??

Anyone else married to a teacher?? Jude - Try having all 4 people in the house be at different schools...2 of the teachers and 2 of them the kids! It is a funny thing to watch as we all watch the school closings and then have some of us celebrate while some of us get very angry!!!

I am excited to say after having snow FIVE times in October, we have been snow free this month. And yes...snow is a dirty 4 letter word in our house!

I can not believe it, but I already have to bail on the cruise.

Realized the other night that if my daughter makes the high school cheer team, fall sports practice begins August 15 with cheer camp that week. We have gone back and forth about whether to take the chance or not, but I know that I would feel miserable if I wait to the last minute and have to cancel.

If she does not make the team, you may see me again 3 months before the cruise joining the group again. Although then I am sure I will have THOUSAND of pages to read to catch up.

You guys are a great group! This cruise is going to be a blast! Do not be strangers if you see me posting on the boards!

I am so jealous! I kept imagining how great it would have been to be there instead of in Minnesota! DS kept checking the FL weather and telling us what it was like there while we were watching the snow fall here.

LOL, I have yet to see that icky stuff! I saw a few flakes before Halloween, but nothing to stick. It was HOT HOT HOT when we were there! I have been in July and August and it was easily as hot as then, if not hotter. What do you think Gina? I thought we were going to melt on Sunday afternoon at Epcot!!! And Monday was ever worse!

BUT, I will take that over snow anyday!
