This last cruise, we met a family on the boards and hung with them in WDW then got on the boat. I'm not sure she believed me when I said the crew on the Magic knew me. We walked off the elevator for the Topsiders buffet on embarkation day... John the bartender hugged me! Pretty bad when the bar boys know you by name because you help send their kids to college!

This is hilarious! How many times have you sailed?

BTW, My vote is still for Twice Upon a Dream.

RE: the learning of names.....Yea, I can't keep up, except with Jen, since she made us that awesome site and her name is in her sreen name. I've been trying to sign my name at the end of each post. HTH

We've sailed 7 times. We're friends with the Captain thanks to Hurricane Jeanne, Brent, serves, head waiters, etc. I'm amazed how they remember you! I must admit, I do stand out for many reasons!!! LOL!!

On the Hurricane Jeanne cruise a good portion of the crew/passengers were sea sick. The crew had trouble with trays in the dinning rooms, room stewarts had trouble with carts, etc. People were sleeping on deck for fresh air.

Myself and 4 other guys were on the bow of deck 10 playing weather channel at the height of the storm. It was a freakin' riot! One guy's shirt got ripped off! The Captain thought we were nuts! Waves were breaking over the crew pool, we were soaked from the driving rains and winds. Gosh, I love a good storm at sea! Yeah, sick sense of humor!

I haven't read through the whole thread yet so, i'm not sure if this was asked yet.... Has anyone else noticed that the size of the cabins are much small than those on the wonder and magic?? Any thoughts as to why they made them so much smaller or did i not read it correctly?

If I were CEO of DCL for the day I would give everyone onboard an extra day @ CC as a surprise BONUS!!!LOL!!!!!!!!!!!

I absolutely agree there should be more longer cruises on the schedule. I was so disappointed the Dream wasn't doing a longer cruise...5 nights isn't enough! How the heck am I going to meet all of you in only 5 nights And Nassau, well I won't even getting off the ship. Was a total waste of time last time we went. Okay, that's my two cents.

P.S. Agree with the names you have narrowed down so far

This was the table the last night of our August 29th cruise. I called it the orphange, all the bottles needed to be adopted. Feel the LOVE! OBTW, we drank it all!

I love Brent he remembered us from our OCT. cruise this Aug. when we were sailing. He rembered that we we were dodging Hurricane Omar in Oct. Then in Aug. Anna and Bill...He joked with us that we were bad luck with hurricanes.......We have become GREAT friends with one of the CM's in charge of all Children's Activities. I love how nice the CM's are onboard!!

The best part... that was only half of our table! On the left, not in the photo, is a hottie from Canada who wore a lace-up speedo bare chested! I die! I was sticking mickey confetti on his chest from the till we meet again party! Just showing some hospitality towards our neighbors from the north!
