I haven't read through the whole thread yet so, I'm not sure if this was asked yet.... Has anyone else noticed that the size of the cabins are much small than those on the Wonder and Magic?? Any thoughts as to why they made them so much smaller or did I not read it correctly?

That's great to hear because we are also HUGE Red Sox/Patriots fans. Looks like our husbands will have lots to talk about on the cruise Where in Mass is he from?

My DH was from all over the place. Norwood, Natick, Marblehead, Jamaica Plan. Take your pick. He moved all over the place as a kid.

Gotcha. I also lived in Norwood for a bit. Not so happy with the Patriots today. Went to bed early since they had the lead...I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER! Not so easy being a New England sports fan sometimes

Going on a rant here:

I'm not sorry DCL is having trouble with Med cruises in 2011. Flame me if you want, I can take it. When you live in the northeast and have children there are only certain times of the year you can go on vacation or can afford without putting a lean on your home. I want more 7 days on the schedule. I'm not happy with 2010 or 2011. I have 5 day cruises booked for both years. Do you really think I want to go to Nassau two years in a row?? Heck no! St. Thomas, St. Marteen, Cozumel, anything is better. DCL please listen to your core base. Give us lucky number 7.

Welcome!! I don't think they are a ton smaller, only about 10 feet. And it's possible you won't even notice that difference, if they have used the space more efficiently in the new rooms.

I absolutely agree there should be more longer cruises on the schedule. I was so disappointed the Dream wasn't doing a longer cruise...5 nights isn't enough! I just received an email from Port Canaveral (media alert, helpful during hurricane season when DCL keeps you in the dark!). The Carnival Dream arrives November 18th! We're thinking about sailing her in 2010 instead of the Wonder. Just tell the kid, look away from the Mickey boat!

Hmmm... interesting.... Dream, Carnival, Disney. Carnival's water park is called the aqua park, featuring the longest water slide at sea.

This was the table the last night of our August 29th cruise. I called it the orphange, all the bottles needed to be adopted. Feel the LOVE! OBTW, we drank it all!

We are going to have some fun Michele! I hope you like to dance. I am hoping to get out more in the evenings and have some fun! When we went with our neighborhood group last time, a bunch of us went out and had a blast at night. We were even spinning tunes (well cds) back in the DJ booth. We had so much fun

We walked off the elevator for the Topsiders buffet on embarkation day... John the bartender hugged me! Pretty bad when the bar boys know you by name because you help send their kids to college!
