Thanks everyone! Once again, I think it is resolved (well I still have almost no income so I have that stress) but the other part is supposedly settled again. It's kinda hard to go into, maybe over a drink (or two or three)...

I used to sell Creative Memories, but do you think I ever finished a scrapbook?? Ha, nope!

LOL!! I don't feel so bad now!! I have good intentions, but never seem to actually do much (ok, hardly any!!!) scrapping!!

Whoo Hoo! Running at CC with Bruce and Randy! Just so you guys know....I run slow and steady. It is 3.1 miles so it will take me 31 minutes - maybe even longer with the heat. Maybe faster...but I doubt it. I really like 10 min/mile pace.

I'm more like 14 min/ mile.....walking on a good day!! In the heat it will probably be much slower!! You will probably be relaxing with a cool beverage by the time I'm done!!

I don't do well at all running in the heat

As they say in pro sports "it will be a game time decision" for me! 90+ degrees and you might not see me out there.

I'm with you Harry!! I don't do well in heat!! So I may end up cheering everyone else on!!

DS totally freaked out in the ride. I had to look at him the whole time and talk him through the ride. We had the bag out and when we got off, he was so shaky. We had to visit one of the side rooms as you exit the ride (look for all the doors along the hallway...they are all filled with sinks and hoses for when people get sick). He was so sick. It was beyond awful!

That was the end of all rides, all parades (even the lights and music made him feel sick again) until we finally got a hold of his doctor and got him on medication.

We now do WDW with him fairly medicated. It is sad though because he used to love all the thrill rides - especially the Rock-n-Roller Coaster. Now he gets really scared to go on it all until after he does a few rides and realizes that his medicine is working.

Poor Ben!! At least he can take medicine and still go on rides!

Alexa and I will start with our patches on Saturday, no way we are attempting the Forbidden Journey at Universal without it!

I might have missed this somewhere, the gates are open part of the day to deliver FE to concierge? What time?

I'm a little worried about FJ myself!! I don't have any patches..
I did MS when they first opened and didn't have two sides to choose from and I survived!! So maybe I will be OK. We've also done the green side a few times and we were fine. We don't ride MS much though!!
Are you all going to go on all the big coasters at Universal. I told Ds I'm not sure if I will. DH isn't a big ride fan. DS and I usually do all the rides, but Universal is new for him and it's been awhile since I've been.

Welcome!! I have a 10 year old son, Michael. We are also going to Universal on the 12th staying at the HRH! It has been about 112 years since DH and I have been...so we are all excited to go. We've never stayed on site!! We are also doing parasailing on the first CC day @ 1:30!


I also have a12 year old son and he will be doing the parsailing on the first day at cc 2 pm

Is your son going by himself? It's fun!!

We are riding for sure!!! I just fear we might not be able to ride anything else all day LOL. Hoping since the patch got us through a hurricane on the Magic, it can get me through FJ!!!

And Mission Space? We've never even been within 50 feet of the entrance to that thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dh and ds do that one, we go an do Journey to Your Imagination .

Well my mom went to see the surgeon today. The surgeon said go on your vacation!! She is going to have her biopsy on Thursday morning. So at least it will be done before we leave. They told her that she could call on Tuesday for the results. She said she will call before we set sail. I wish she did not have to call on Tuesday since if the results are bad it will make the start of our cruise not soo great. But either way the outcome we will be sailing!!

Woo! Just finished packing.... Well still have the toiletries to finish up tonight and update iPads with new movies, etc..... That's easy stuff

We are down to a 15 hour countdown until we head to the airport.. This time tomorrow we will be landing in Orlando!

This is the earliest I have ever packed before... Usually we finish at midnight the night before we leave at 5 am or something . Not sure what I will do tonight now

How exciting!! You are really close to leaving!! You are so lucky!

Ah I love Remy - he's so cute

I'm now even more excited (if that is at all possible) - I can't wait to eat at Remy's.

I have piles of clothes and things hanging on doors all around the upstairs of my house - but nothing has ventured into the cases

Tomorrow I have a big big job - I'm going to work out what shoes and accessories to take. Anyone who knows me, knows that this is a major part of my packing as I love shoes. Trying to decide what to take / leave is very hard.

I think I'll get round to actually putting things in the cases on Sunday

Oh well I'm off to bed -lets hope I can actually calm down enough to sleep

We arrive on Sunday august 14, at 1 p.m. We are from New York.
It will be a total of 23. My family Dh, ds 16, ds 12, dd 3. In addition my family and friends (6 adults and 7 children ( 17 F, 16 F, 15 M, 15 M, 14 M, 4 F, 3 F)
How r u getting to the ship? I have a mini bus picking us up. It was a lot cheaper than the Disney bus.

HELLO we are also from NY and arriving to orlando at 12:30 on Saturday. Any chance you are on JetBlue. It total we are 25. Only 16 are coming on Saturday . We are using a limo company and we have 3 -8 passenger van picking us up.

It was so much cheaper then the disney transportation.

Wow! I hope that your packing rubs off on me. I am STRONGLY hoping that for the first time I won't be up past midnight next Friday night cause we have to leave the house at 4:15 AM - 4:30 AM for the airport!

I left work at 1pm. Went to Walmart, The Disney Store, Learning Express, then got my hair done.

After the hair salon I stopped at Target then picked up Ben, stopped at the house for the thermal bags, picked up Bethany, then we went to BJs.

I got home at 7:15pm.

It is now 8:30pm and the kids have yet to eat dinner (almost done cooking).

FYI - If your kids (or you!) are into Phineas & Ferb, BJs has their magazine. I put one away to surprise the kids with on the train ride. Their big movie premiers tonight and the soundtrack is also available on cd ($10 at Walmart).

I think I am done purchasing things for the cruise and now I can just pack it all.

Hi everyone! I mostly just read all the post, but was getting inspired to start getting stuff ready for the cruise. (as many of you have already started) And my dryer just died todayThe new dryer is to be delivered Thurs. the eleventh.
So we will be the ones wearing the same clothes or in the laundry room doing wash. lol
Oh well at least the cruise is almost here.

I just checked CI&S website and the park and cruise $$ was $20 cheaper than the price I had. I called and they adjusted my rate!!!

Kristin, Don't worry! You won't be the only one with lots of luggage!! I need to learn how to pack better....oh wait, maybe my new magic packing cubes will help!!!! LOL!!!!
