Well my mom went to see the surgeon today. The surgeon said go on your vacation!! She is going to have her biopsy on Thursday morning. So at least it will be done before we leave. They told her that she could call on Tuesday for the results. She said she will call before we set sail. I wish she did not have to call on Tuesday since if the results are bad it will make the start of our cruise not soo great. But either way the outcome we will be sailing!!

Kristen I'm so glad to hear your mom(and all of you) will still be on the cruise! In some ways it would be harder for her to have to wait for the results (say if they came on Wed). At least she wil get them surrounded by family one way or the other. Keeping her in our thoughts and hoping for the best!!

My DD is on her way to Oregon and Washington to meet her fiance's family! I'm not ready for this!! Where did all the time go?? I want my baby back!!

I just finished watching Tangled - it was fab - so funny (and I only cried at the end)


Now after tea we are putting on Ratatouille - I've never seen it before and tbh never really fancied it - but now I have to see it, so I can look for hidden refererences in Remy on the ship

Why do I get so emotional though when I hear 'when you wish upon a star?'

Tangled is wonderful, but I LOVED Ratatouille too!! I have a stuffed Remy on my desk that I got at the Food and Wine Festival at Epcot.

At the cabin with my terribly spotty Wi-Fi service up north but I am going to try some quick posting.

Kristin - Big hugs to you and your mom! I knew I had to get on just to see if you would post the news. I have been thinking of you all morning long.

Erika - We waved and said hello as we went through your part of MN! I have been thinking of you as well and hoping you some smoother work days before we leave.

Helen - I love that you are watching Disney movies! We will probably watch some next week. Let's not even get started with how we all feel when we hear "When you wish upon a star"....it is a totally emotional response.

Christine - I love your countdown! It is so great to see numbers in the single digits!

Candy - It is so hard watching them grow up!

Sherri - I love the idea of "Disney Training". I think I will have to participate in "Disney Training" all next week!

Tangled is my favorite Disney movie since beauty and the beast, I think they did a great job with it

I can't believe how excited I'm getting - my friends yesterday were laughing at me ! Its now at this time next week I'll be at WDW doing ...

I do this ALL the time. NExt week at this time... Last week at this time... I never live in the moment around big things like this. lol

We are riding for sure!!! I just fear we might not be able to ride anything else all day LOL. Hoping since the patch got us through a hurricane on the Magic, it can get me through FJ!!!

And Mission Space? We've never even been within 50 feet of the entrance to that thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dh and ds do that one, we go an do Journey to Your Imagination .

I don't think I've done either one! I know I've never done MS. Now I have to look into it more.

Is there anyone else NOT dressing up in costume for pirate night?

We won;t be dressed up for pirate night at all. Maybe the bandana they give you at dinner, but that's it.

I've actually started a day by day to do list!

Amen to that!! My mind is mush these days. The Princess's bday party is tomorrow. I still need to do everything for it. It is very tame for my standards, but I can't go big this year. Next year.

YAY!!! I'm so glad she can go with you. I agree that finding out sooner vs later is probably best regardless of the news. She will be surrounded by all of you. Think positive.

Woo! Just finished packing.... Well still have the toiletries to finish up tonight and update iPads with new movies, etc..... That's easy stuff

We are down to a 15 hour countdown until we head to the airport.. This time tomorrow we will be landing in Orlando!

This is the earliest I have ever packed before... Usually we finish at midnight the night before we leave at 5 am or something . Not sure what I will do tonight now

Ah I love Remy - he's so cute

I'm now even more excited (if that is at all possible) - I can't wait to eat at Remy's.

I have piles of clothes and things hanging on doors all around the upstairs of my house - but nothing has ventured into the cases

Tomorrow I have a big big job - I'm going to work out what shoes and accessories to take. Anyone who knows me, knows that this is a major part of my packing as I love shoes. Trying to decide what to take / leave is very hard.

I think I'll get round to actually putting things in the cases on Sunday

Oh well I'm off to bed -lets hope I can actually calm down enough to sleep

We are also at OKW before the cruise. We get there on Friday 8/12 - when you do arrive?

We arrive on Sunday august 14, at 1 p.m. We are from New York.
It will be a total of 23. My family Dh, ds 16, ds 12, dd 3. In addition my family and friends (6 adults and 7 children ( 17 F, 16 F, 15 M, 15 M, 14 M, 4 F, 3 F)
How r u getting to the ship? I have a mini bus picking us up. It was a lot cheaper than the Disney bus.
